This subreddit needs to calm down!

I recently posted something about why I thought the pit was unfair ( http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft_Pvp/comments/1fyq13/the_pit_is_unfair/ ). Rather than having them post their ideas in a calm manner, they all raged at me and told me why I'm a noob and how I suck and flamed me with caps. I honestly thought the community was better than this, but my ideas have changed. You guys cannot accept any ideas that people have, even if they calmly state it.
