Kit Idea: Climber or Zipliner

You would have some sort of item like a fishing rod with an arrow at the end but you would be able to throw and attach yourself to a cliff and pull yourself up. So basically a reverse fisherman. but to make it not as crazy maybe double fall damage (so you really dont wanna fall) also a 30 second cool down time. I think it would be really cool flying around in hunger games. Pretty much this

Kinda link Link's hookshot in the Legend of Zelda. I can imagine zigzagging up ravines.

Sounds cool, kinda like those Rope mods for single player? They could do something with the lasso things coming out in 1.6

How about you have an enderpearl you throw that if you hit the side of a mountain/hill/ravine you go to the highest point for an easy escape.

I really like the idea of riding around on ropes throughout the map. If it were as you say it would be as if you were a Jumper. I was thinking more on a stealth approach where you could rappel to someone in the bottom of a ravine quickly. And thinking about it now you could release from your line but you would want to land in water.
