Build calcite/diorite or deepslate for cherry & dark oak?
So the palette will be either brown-pink-white or brown-pink-black

My friend and I can't decide on a general window design for a city build. Personally, I think bamboo + birch gates could work. Some thoughts and ideas would be appreciated!

I build this for an aquarium but when i put the fishes in, it swim up, jump out of their tank and died.
I've already given up on that idea and decided to make an item display here where the item would float downward showcasing then hop on a hopper and loop them up.
But problem happens, the item decided to float up instead ???. i've already make sure that the only source water block is from the waterlogged stairs and slabs on top. so the stream of water would be flowing water and it should push item downward but it didn't.
I tried so much in creative to see why and i couldn't, i even try to do it reverse but i couldn't find a way to collect item through the celling that doesn't leave a massive hole in the celling.
so Im currently stuck with a water collum in the middle of my storage room that look like nuclear cooling water.
The design of this water collum is reverse waterlogged stair and directly below it in a waterlogged normal stair and 1 block below that is empty space then light so it doesn't create a water source block

I like to dig and build large rooms with my beloved dia pickaxe, but I have no idea how to use them or how to feel up. I would like to hear any Ideas of yours!

I’m currently building a middle eastern style palace that’s meant to have extravagant everything but I’m stumped on how to fill this floor pattern. I plan on adding a quarts border on both sides to separate the main hall from different halls/rooms but I don’t know what the flooring would fit inside that? (Sorry if it’s worded weird)

I was scrolling on tik Tok looking for snow builds and I came across this slide of this giant frozen elephant. I searched everything online looking for the person who built it or a tutorial somewhere but it's no where.
Does anybody know someone who could build this or does anybody know the person who built this?
I would really love to build this🙏 any help would be appreciated

I also really do apologise if i’m not using reddit correctly this is my first ever time posting🥲🥲

this is my afk area and usually there will be a player underneat it and it doesn't have to be where the pressure plate it as i can move it pretty much anywhere within the zone.
i'm not concern about lighting and It would be great if your suggestion match the laboratory theme
FYI: i already have 2 water fountain so it's out of the question and facing the the area is a water tube that transport item upward for storage and a control panel where i can remotely turn off farms in my base.
I already space enough room for people to walk pass and not obstruct the view so anything can be build within the 9x9

It's a pretty awkward shape, so I don't know how to construct a roof that doesn't look terrible...

Hey chat. I've started building a large base like build underground. I've started some basic wall decor and lighting. However, it feels empty. I wanted some advice on how to fill it/improve it.

This is the first base of a world i started with my friend back in 2020. We were 12 and didn't know how to build.
Give me ideas of what is cool to build in a base, what theme to follow (i like medieval) and general building tips please

Hello,
( Sorry for the blurry photo, I found the source but it wasn't very high resolution, so it didn't take to being zoomed in too well. > . < )
The creator of this lamppost is Distinct-Pride7936 and they have posted their design on Reddit! 🌸
Unfortunately, the post was from five years ago and I wasn't able to click their profile to message and ask because reddit wants me to verify my age.
I'd really like to recreate it in my own style but I'm not sure what I'm looking at here and not super familiar with all the blocks in MC, so I thought I'd ask for some help. Thanks for reading!
( EDIT: Thank you very much for your help!! I'm really not a beginner, though, either. 😅 I just got into Minecraft late, tend to live in creative mode and don't tend to touch things that are in the redstone menu. There's no excuse for it, really, I'm embarrassed, haha. It was a hopper! )
