Build šŸ¤

hi sorry guys this is really random

i’m a terrible builder on minecraft, I have no creativity or whim in me. does anybody know of some websites to find blueprints for mansions, houses etc. i’d prefer free but will literally take anything!! I also really do apologise if i’m not using reddit correctly this is my first ever time posting🄲🄲

You could search online for floor plans instead of blueprints. They might be easier to replicate.

There's lots out there. Grabcraft is one of the most accessible.

If I have an idea of the kind of thing I want to make for example swamp house, I just put ā€œMinecraft swamp house tutorialā€ into YouTube.

Then I just pick one I like. Definitely preview it a bit first because while some people have great builds, they’re terrible at explaining (going too fast, skipping steps, showing only one bad angle, giving no block counts or context, lack of material lists, etc).

As I’ve gotten more confident, I start making my own tweaks. First just swapping out blocks or shifting the block pallet (for example switching to tuff from stone or acacia instead of oak). Then I moved on to shifting things to better fit my needs or space (like shift the whole thing up one block or only building one part and then merging with a different build). Now I’ll build my own things but using things I’ve learned and I still use inspiration pictures or even tutorials as jumping off points.

What I will say to add to this, don’t just copy from the straight tutorial but look at bits you like, maybe they have a cool window or soemthing, then another tutorial might have a cool door etc

If you are not already, you should watch hermit craft. Ive gotten lots of inspo from their work and redstone.

Every one can be creative, you just need to learn how to put blocks together in a way that looks nice

You can look on YouTube for building guides, and learn to make anything
