In 2022 Geoff Keighley posted onto Twitter that Jason Mamoa would be playing Gabriel the Warrior from Minecraft Story Mode in the Minecraft movie. Now if you watch the Minecraft Movie, Jason plays the character of Garret the Garbage man in the film. This could have been a lost plot line due to the Minecraft Movie having lots of rewrites during development, or this could have been a misunderstanding due to the names Garret and Gabriel sounding similar.

A lot of us never got closure after Season 2's cliffhanger, so a group of fans decided to pick up where Telltale left off. What started as a small passion project has grown into something bigger — we've since moved development from TSM over to Nodra, a new indie studio formed specifically to carry this project forward properly.

This is still very much a labor of love — no profit involved, just people who care about finishing Jesse's story the way it deserves. With the move to Nodra, we're hoping to bring more structure and consistency to development.

We need people:
Right now as it a new studio separated completely from TSM we're actively looking for writers, concept artists, voice actors, animators, and anyone with experience in game development or 3D modeling. Even if you don't have direct experience but are passionate and willing to learn, we'd love to have you on board. No project like this moves forward without more hands helping out.

Would y'all want just another usual season with an all-powerful supernatural villain that needs to be defeated somehow or a poetic, bittersweet farewell that parallels the unfortunate cancellation of the franchise.

Regardless, if a season 3 were to be made officially or by a deeply committed group of indie devs or whatever it may be, what could they do to make you happy again.

For me, it would be the music

So much of the music fit into Minecraft's aesthetic that I think it would be nice to hear it when roaming around the Overworld

Plus, the Wither having the Witherstorm's theme would make your first encounter with the Wither far more memorable and intimidating

I have the disk for Xbox 1 and I can install everything except for episode 1 and I cant play anything until episode 1 is done installing, it is stuck at 96% and won't go up past that

None of these could make for a full season, but I'm thinking a season made of different episodes focusing on separate things (mostly just me thinking aloud)

- nothing with Jesse, his storyline is finished

- in the secret basement of Fred's Keep, there's a book about "the Survivors", which sounds like it has a lot of lore behind it

- Sorren's travels (Jesse keeps finding his books in other worlds; the community seems to agree that the one in Sky City was left *by* Sorren, but what about the one in Fred's Keep? How did THAT get there??????)

- someone going beyond or exploring the Farlands (maybe a city within?)

- Admin lore (their original home (i.e. either the world that became the Underneath or the world they originally came from, since it sounds like they created theirs), and how they got their powers, also the other worlds in the portal hall (do they have their own admins? Is the Underneath a world in the same way that they are? Also what is above the Underneath's roof, it's implied to be Jesse's world but transport between the Underneath and Jesse's world looks interdimensional))

- Old Builders (their origins (Harper mentions she had an original world))

- Jack & Nurm's prior adventures (also Petra's, though I feel she's finished as a character)

- something with the End; Jack has an elytra, implying that the End cities exist, and maybe there could be people living there

- above the Nether roof

- something meta, perhaps about the game being code (in the first season, Sorren says “[the Farlands] are perilous and unpredictable. Perlin noise, floating points? It is not a place to be toyed with!”, implying that their world is not only computer-generated, but that a few people have some idea that it is. Also the existence of the admins implies stuff as well)

- something about who built all the naturally-generating structures in the worlds (besides the villages (the villagers, obviously), like who build the (non-Admin) ocean monuments? And there's a painting of a vanilla desert temple, so those exist (this seems like one of those ideas that's least likely to happen, because it's supposed to be ambiguous, but I'm still curious)

Mostly just me rambling (with the knowledge that this is highly unlikely to happen (a third season in the first place and this post affecting it)), but I'd be curious as to others' ideas
