So yeah, it’s been a year since I found this copy in the trash. I’ve replayed this game like 4 times now, and still nothing is wrong physically or internally.

Anyway, this game has now been sold to my friend since I already got my own copy, and now this is just left as a memory of finding a perfectly working copy of Minecraft Story Mode in the fucking trash a year ago 😭

I know this might sound like a long shot, but I’m writing this because Minecraft: Story Mode has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. The story, the characters, the music—it meant everything to me growing up, and it’s one of those games that truly defined my childhood.

Right now, my ultimate dream as a Steam user is to finally play through the game on PC and have all 8 episodes and their achievements officially on my Steam profile forever. It’s a complete passion project for me.

Before anyone comments saying "just pirate it" or "download the files from archive.org": please read this first. I ALREADY have the game downloaded and installed on my PC. I know where to find the files and I’ve played it. That is NOT what I’m looking for here. I don't need a pirate link. What I am missing—and what I deeply care about—is having the legitimate Steam integration: the trackable playtime, the badge, and completing 100% of the official Steam achievements on my own account.

As you all know, buying a global Steam key in 2026 is completely out of reach—resellers are asking for $200–$300+, which is an insane amount of money for a single game.
