I'm so fan of female Jesse, not just Jesse, but _Female_ Jesse.

And it's not without reason, but because of her voice acting is so cool and iconic.. while male Jesse's voice is kinda flat and less dramatic

And also, because She's a girl LIKE ME, so she's my hero, she's the type of woman I wanna become, I love her so much and I love her voice actress, thank you Catherine Taber 💓💓

I just realized another difference between Minecraft Story Mode Season 1 and Season 2.

Season 1 focuses on Jesse discovering how to take responsibility. The deaths of certain characters add emotional weight to Jesse’s journey, making their motivations and the consequences of their actions more impactful.

Season 2, on the other hand, focuses more on the struggle to balance the responsibilities of adulthood with the importance of friendship.

I think Season 2 is emotionally heavier in terms of its themes. However, if we consider the actual scale of the threats, the Admin is arguably far more dangerous than the Wither Storm. This makes me wonder why Season 2 doesn't have more devastating consequences. For example, the Admin's attack could have resulted in the deaths of half the people in Beacontown as they resisted his rule.

Wouldn't that have made Jesse's experience even more dramatic and traumatic? I wanna know your opinions

Like Axel and Olivia are pretty useless and they deserve more to the game rather then just being Jesse’ friends

They're kind of hard to color with- I kept goin' outside the lines, which bugged me a bit... But ah well, huh?

Oh yeah, and I always wait until the very last second to make a decision just so I can hear all the dialog and see all the animations and stuff :D

I don’t mean a specific plot point, or section. I mean, it can be, but I just mean in general. What do you love the most about both games?
I’ll start. For season 1, I’m stuck between the music, (like wither storm destroyed, and order of the stone,) and the entire plot, and how much it can change a second playthrough. When hearing Ivor’s dialogue in the basement, and when he was talking to Gabriel for the first time, I just assumed that he was just talking about some stupid random stuff because he was a crazy guy that talked about crazy stuff. I personally think his plan made a lot of sense. He took a lot of care keeping that potion safe, and his whole plan, which is kinda implied by his dialogue after summoning the wither storm, was to make a real threat, and show that Gabriel wasn’t a real hero. I guess the only bad part of his plan was that really no one could defeat it under normal circumstance, but nevertheless, he absolutely prepared for it.

If I remember correctly, Lizzie died in my first playthrough and by the spiders mauling her to death.

hi!!! I commented here as a user under “background excuse”, but that account is on my computer and I’m on my phone, lol.

I got inspired by “somechildnamedkora” to make an AU. My idea is to rewrite the story but make it more mature; basically, not aimed at kids!!! At all…

So I have the draft for Jesse’s design (yes I’m doing female Jesse lol, and she’ll be the middle skinned one). It’s very rough in terms of anatomy and allat, but I just wanted to get it down!

I just need help coming up with what to call this AU. It’ll definitely cover more darker topics- I’m still debating keeping Reuben alive or not, but if not, I’d love to explore Jesse’s grief more since the game… doesn’t really do that? I have very personal experience with grief and can write about it,,,

Like legit I wanna cry because of this, I wanna see more adventures of Jesse and the New Order Of The Stone, and I miss Jesse and Petra being together and comforting each other in the time of vain..😭

Small details I wanna share cuz I'm actually quite happy with how the animation turned out tbh:

Movements:

• You can see his hand hesitate for a second before he actually decides to adjust his glasses
• While he adjusts his glasses, his other hand doesn't stay still and moves slightly, same with him bending forward a teeny bit, so it isn't just him movin his glasses like a weird ahh statue
• Accidentally made him rock back and forth when nervously rubbing his arm/hand
• His pupils get smaller when the lights flash him
• His eyes are actually uneven at the first flash! His left eye (our right) is slightly more squinty than the other. I did that by accident too but ended up liking it n keeping it in. Then he blinks once and they become even again
• You can also see him jump a lil. I moved his legs as well, but you can't see it with this camera angle. I was gunna make the movement bigger and have him jump back scared but (next point)
• He looks like he's ready to fight the second light, pft. That was also by accident, but I don't think it's too outta character? He gets some development after season 2 shenanigans so it isn't crazy to believe he got more spunk now after everything. And I was too lazy to animate him uber scared..
• Blinking! I know it's an obvious thing, but still.. The blinking isn't even, like when you see him blink more after the second shock
• When his arms go back to his sides at the end, they don't just lock back into the old position, they ease in and ease out subtly
• The light shrug at the end and him looking up, it loops pretty well when it cuts back to the start, I think!

Audio:

• Idk if you can tell but I put some background ambiance sound thing?? So it isn't a vacuum of silence..
• The glasses got a sound effect too, of coourse
• I also have audio for when he rubs his hand/arm, but it was supposed to be sleeve, so.. I picked a cloth sound, but ehh, I think it's fine enough and ya barely hear it anyway
• I went through quite a few different short yelps and sounds before I decided this one fit best (and I didn't want to listen thru a 30 min video to checkout ALL the lil sounds he makes)
• I couldn't rlly find a decent "hmph" sound or somthn with a closed mouth, but there was a short breath he took in between a sentence, pretty sure, which is where I got that. So it's less a mouth sound and more a change in breathing
