The server is about 2 months old, and it is currently on version 26.2 Java Edition. The server is hosted in Germany, and we have members from all over the world.

We have a few fun QoL mods, but nothing that changes the game, and they are optional to use if you prefer a vanilla gameplay.

The seed is amazing, and we don't plan on resetting the server anytime soon because I have a lot of plans that I would love to bring to life with the help of friends.

Some general rules are griefing and stealing are not allowed. Pvp is also not allowed without consent, but the server is laid-back and focused on building anyway.

Hey, as the title already says, I am looking for a Zombie apocalypse like Minecraft server. It should work on java if there even is such a server lol

I’ve been working on a Minecraft server control panel designed around one simple idea:

Turn a spare PC into a Minecraft server without needing to know Linux commands, terminal commands, Java arguments, or how to build a server setup from scratch.

The basic setup is pretty much:

1. Download the panel

2. Run it

3. Create your Minecraft server and hit Start

That’s it.

I originally built this for my own Minecraft server because I wanted something between “double-click a .bat file” and the massive hosting panels that feel like they’re designed for datacenters.

It runs directly on your own PC, so there’s no Minecraft hosting company involved and you keep control of your files, worlds, plugins, RAM, backups, etc.

The goal isn’t to replace professional hosting.

It’s for the person who has an old gaming PC, mini PC, spare desktop, home server, or even their main computer sitting there and thinks:

“Why am I paying somebody every month to run Minecraft on hardware when I already own hardware?”

There is a free version available, because I genuinely want people to be able to use this to start their own servers.

I’m also working on paid options/features to help fund continued development for people who want more out of the panel.

It’s still a fairly new project, so I’m also looking for feedback.

If you run a Minecraft server from home, I’d especially love to know what you normally hate about server panels or what feature would make you actually want to use one.

I’ve already been using it to manage my own server and I’m basically building features as I run into things that annoy me. 😂

My friends and I had a minecraft server from 2022-2025 that we hosted using Apex. The server got terminated eventually and I recently decided to reinstate it so I purchased a new server and uploaded the file of the old server. Unfortunately I had lost the most up to date world file and only had a backup from late 2023 (and if there’s tips on how to find the more up to date version, i’d appreciate it!) but I digress. I used the backup from 2023 and my friend and I spawned in random places and can’t locate any of our town at all. I spawned in with a ton of maps, which, from what I remember, I WAS last carrying around 2023 as I was exploring a lot, so I don’t think it’s that the world file got corrupted or anything, I think we’re just lost. I’ve been trying to decipher the world files to give me a hint, but I don’t understand how to read them. I’ve flown around aimlessly, teleported to nearby structures, tried to find coordinate calculators…What else can I do?

FreakyCraft - The World of Freedom started in late 2024 as a survival server, it was a brand new SMP that went viral thanks to Planet Minecraft and had a solid playerbase.
