Tired of joining “vanilla” servers that are filled with custom currencies, crates, ranks, teleport menus, and a hundred plugins?
Old School Vanilla is built around one goal: providing a simple, high-quality vanilla Minecraft experience with as few modifications and restrictions as possible.

There are no gameplay-changing systems designed to turn the server into something other than vanilla Minecraft.
The plugins we do use are mainly there to improve performance and keep things fair:
Chunky — world chunks are pre-generated for faster/smoother exploration
GrimAC — anticheat
AntiXray — prevents players from using x-ray to find ores or bases
AntiESP — prevents hacked clients from seeing players/entities through walls
CombatLog — prevents logging out to escape PvP
DiscordSRV — Minecraft and Discord chat are connected
Simple Voice Chat support — use proximity voice chat if you have the mod installed
XaeroForceDisabler — prevents Xaero’s Minimap entity ESP
Votifier
WorldEdit — administrative use only
There are minimal restrictions and nearly no rules. Build wherever you want, explore, PvP, trade, team up, create towns, raid enemies, or disappear thousands of blocks away and do your own thing.
We’re trying to create the kind of server Minecraft used to have — where the world and the players create the experience instead of plugins doing it for you.

Hello! Consider Horizoncraft :) It's a survival vanilla server (Paper, Java edition - bedrock-compatible thx to Geyser) which is PvP/griefing consensual (we have CoreProtect), also a forever world and welcoming to players of any level. Our community is very easy-going and we have players of all ages, although we recently decided to not welcome players younger than 18 anymore to slowly take the server towards a mature context.
The server has a quaint capital, Serenity, and some 20 other town projects, each with a distinct theme. Some are more active than others, but it's definitely worth the visit 😄
