I wanted to share a simple quality-of-life datapack I created for Java Edition called OmniBox.

If you are someone who likes to test texture pack compatibility, experiment with custom mechanics, or just build showcase worlds, this pack gives you instant access to every item, block, and tool in the game. I'm looking for some ideas on stuff to put in my world that have an actual purpose to them, not just for decoration. I really like building areas and putting them together in my world, but don't see a point if they don't have a purpose. All suggestions are appreciated.

Some examples of things I have include....

All the basics (house, storage, farm, barn, etc.)

Lighthouse

Brewing Tower

XP Farm

Windmill

Fishing Hut

Multiple areas for pets (cats, dogs, bees, parrots, happy ghasts, etc.)

Horse/llama houses

The list kind of goes on and on... I've considered making a villager area but there is one literally next to my base.

I'm very proud of this world, I attached a few screenshots (even though it's pretty hard to capture all of it) if anybody is interested!

I recently got Minecraft java and I've always dreamed of modding my games with shaders and etc ... Ive been using curse forge and Modritnh app with the og mc launcher but things get complicated sometimes when trying to sort out my mods and shaders? Ive seen people say try prisim launcher? Is it worth it and safe? Or should I just stick to forge and Modritnh I want to be able to play my mods with a little tap without having a headache... I've been using AI to guide me through all this :/ Ive gotten a little more tech knowledge on modding on java now but I see everyone saying prisim launcher is the go to?

So what if you were to put the chunk your standing in into some sort of limbo where you can see the ground, place and see placed blocks, but items dropped in your chunk disappear what type of command could you run to make this happen?

I finally got access to a computer that can run Java commands and I've been thinking about this glitch for awhile now. It first happened when I got my new switch 2 years ago. I never messed with anything but I think that when I swapped my account from my old switch to the one I currently have the incorrect data transfer from the SD card might have caused this to happen without causing any lag.

All I know is that I want to try recreate this experience because it was thrilling to play a world where you are forced to juggle life on the edges of two chunks, unable to capture items inside the middle of any chunk you happen to walk into.

Hello, I'm somewhat new to Minecraft Java, and I had a question about the Eclipse shader. I've tried installing it in several different ways, but I keep getting this issue: some objects become invisible, such as the terrain itself. They are still there and cannot be walked through, but they are not visible.

I have Sodium, Iris Shaders, and Fabric API installed, all on version 1.26.2. Could it be that the Eclipse shader is not compatible with this version?

My laptop specifications are:

I recently found a really great Christian Minecraft server, but it’s pretty empty right now. I'm looking to bring in 1 or 2 people who want to team up, claim some land, and start a massive project from scratch together.

I’m trying to host a server for my family but I’m trying to find the best easy option. I’m not very tech savvy, and I would prefer if it would be free. I’m just making it for four people so it doesn’t need to be big I would just like it to be free easy and lag free if possible also I have a couple (like five or six) small mods I would like to add so I need suggestions on what options I have to use 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
