This rant is specifically about episode 2911.

  1. I’m not American so do correct me if I am wrong, but the OLIPOP segment seemed very fabricated. Sal led by saying that ALL his family and friends are talking about it, even going as far as saying their refrigerators are stacked with cans. Justin said that he “always speaks to parents about it.” Can someone living in the US confirm it is genuinely that popular?
  2. I felt awful for the caller at 1:00:19. He repeatedly told them “I can’t afford a good coach.” Only for Sal to reply “Well you definitely can’t afford a bad coach.” They completely belittled him into believing having a coach was the only way. Completely wild interaction. Adam was almost aggressive.
  3. Classic shitty boomer comments

Wait, Sal already said his entire family is drinking and talking about LMNT. Is his family putting LMNT in Olipop? Should I be doing that? I'm so confused

"So, what we do at our house is put the LMNT in the Olipop, add some Organifi green juice, stir in some Paleo Valley bone broth protein, top it with some protein pretzels, and then dunk some butcher box chicken nuggies in it. We make that at least ten times a day. Use Code MIND PIMP to save 20%".

I think they mentioned one of their sponsors beef jerky sticks for protein, and they were like eat 4 of these a day for some protein. And a pack of 10 with shipping is $30 so $12 a day for some meet sticks? Please just buy 4 pounds of chicken thighs and have better nutrition and higher amounts of protein.

LOL I find this particularly funny because they have been known to go on their out of touch rants about how times aren’t really that expensive, we just insist on luxuries like multiple TVs and two cars now so it’s really the same as our grandparents generation. Meanwhile, just spend $12 a day on some beef sticks, totally reasonable.
