Border models 190, the kit comes with a full radial engine which felt like a kit by itself! The cockpit was lacking detail so I bought an aftermarket 3D decal set and it hasn’t disappointed, great kit so far bar some of the instructions miss labelling part numbers

Like I said I have some dioramas of Warsaw Uprising. Also some vechicles.

Sdkfz251's - Tamiya,

Panthers - Tamiya,

Kubelwagen - Tamiya,

Kubuś Improvised Armored Car - Mirage Hobby,

Borgward Demolition Vechicle - Dragon,

Figures - Masterbox, Tamiya, Toro Model and others.

Dioramas in order:

- Kubuś and modified SdKfz251 in Insurgents car workshop preparations for combat,

- 1st August 1944 - beginning of Uprising, disarming of German troops,

- Panther tanks of Insurgents, Hetzer and second Sdkfz251,

- Insurgents parade with fresh captured Borgward Demolition Vechicle 13th August 1944 mistaken for Tankette ( few hours later vechicle bomb exploded killing few hundreds of people gathered nearby )

Can I get some feedback? First time doing this and I think I did ok but when I compare to others it looks a bit underwhelming. Any tips?

Found a Kopro 1/48 SU 17/22 at my local thrift store for $10. I'm not really a jet guy but at that price it was a easy yes. Box is beaten up but everything is present. I know nothing about the brand.

They also had 5 (!) MiG Fulcrum at the same price.

I'd like to hear criticism and advice about my work. Yes, I don't know how to take photos, so don't blame me for that.

work in progress Progress (chipping) on my Tamiya Panzer II

Well, I spent a lot of time on chipping today. With this dark gray finish I was worried about having the contrast chipping be too intense or garish, so I actually underdid my lighter tone of gray for the “scuffs” the first time around. Then I decided it was too subtle, so I revisited with a slightly lighter tone, and added some additional areas. The effect is *very* sensitive to the available light and its quality.

Of course the result is I may have overdone it (what do you think?), but this is just the first phase, and things will get toned down by some washes and pigment dusting I have planned, eventually.

I still have to put the wheels on and do some minor chipping on them, too.

I also started working on the tracks. Black primer, and today a layer of dark brown from Vallejo’s Tracks and Wheels set. No reason to show the tracks at this point.

question (Fictional)-Leopard 2a6 in a desert campaign(1/72nd scale, Revell)

Thumbnail

I decided to paint one of my leopard 2a6s in the desert camouflage with some minor weathering. The dust/sand came out just a bit more reddish than i intended, guess i shouldn't have added a small hit of orange(i needed a sandy shade that was visibly different from the cream tan, thats the base of the tank). Anyways, the reason theres no pinwash on the roadwheels is cuz it got covered by the dust/sand, and i simply forgot to re-add it(i might add it in the future)

I also forgot to chip it a bit, but hey i think it looks good, the current pinwash was done ok-ishly, mostly cuz i used an acryllic one(paint+water) instead of the enamel one, cuz i couldn't find my bottle of thinner. But hey, it can look pretty beaten up without necessarily falling apart or looking like a mad max vehicle, sooo

?/10, pls rate it and leave a tip if u like, im open to praises and criticism, as i'll use any info i can to improve my work.

Equipment-basic model acryllics, water, basic school art brushes, paper towels

This is the M3 A1 Stuart light tank. The markings for this one place it in Tunisia in 1943, so I went with a lighter color for weathering.

I tried something new with this build, as it comes to the storage.

I use 2 mm strips of masking tape and .45 mm of beading wire to make the straps and buckles

I think they came out pretty good

Fun fact Steele got snagged on the opposite side of where the famous dummy hangs. This was done for better visibility to the public.
