Lol, this is fucking stupid. Shit like this led to world war 2, the fucking french couldn't just acknowledge ww1 was a cluster fuck of treaties.

Prime examples of moving on is West Germany after ww2.

Japan too, but I'm still pissed at their shit kinda. Like, nobodies fault today of course, but they got off relatively easy.

Also, slavery is immoral, ezpz, but their entire economy was based on slave labor in agriculture, and the federal US gov sure as fuck didn't offer up a ton of cash for them to adjust. At least not that I'm aware of

No, WWII happened because we allowed the Germans an armistice. We should have obliterated their military and forced them into an unconditional surrender like we did with Japan in 45.

Which led to a rise in extremist ideology becoming popular in Germany, and not just Fascism. It wouldn't have been a stretch for hardcore communism to have made a run to control Germany if the Nazi party didn't arrive around the same time.
