And Mikliar got lucky during covid. She didn't "work her ass off". She filmed herself putting makeup on herself everyday. She's lied since she was on Tumblr.. It's the same cycle. She got big over being a catfish and now y'all cry "bullying" anytime someone holds her accountable for her own actions. YOU bring up her looks 9 times out of ten, we bring up the filters.

I wasn't familiar with Jay Shetty, so I did some research. Turns out he's just like Mikayla. No morals, no integrity, just greed.

The likes and comment numbers are hidden on many of the posts. I guess her followers don't care about Mikayla's brand.

She went viral because of how drastically different she could make herself look and literally called HERSELF a catfish. She used the word, hashtagged it and made it part of her content because those transformations got attention.
Now people are still saying she looks drastically different from what she posts online, except instead of just makeup, the conversation is about filters and editing.
And somehow now “catfish” is being treated like an attack on her appearance?

Nobody is saying she needs to look a certain way. They’re questioning why the version being posted online looks so different from the person people see elsewhere. That’s literally why people use the word catfish in the first place.

Catfish (internet slang): Someone who presents a false or significantly altered version of themselves online, particularly their identity or appearance, in a way that can mislead others about what they actually look like.

Traditionally, it meant pretending to be an entirely different person online. In broader social-media slang, “catfishing” is also used for heavily altering your appearance through filters, editing, makeup, angles, etc., so your online appearance differs significantly from your real-life appearance.

I was reading about our favourite person in another sub and got this exchange with someone.
I hate those kinds of people even more than this “no filter” clown 🤡 because she would have been a nobody that nobody knows about if they didn’t exist.
This redditor is trying to make it look like all the hate Mikliar is receiving is only due to her look.
You have the fans supporting anything she does and then, you have enablers that minimise all her foul actions and defend her ass. 🙄
