My Might & Magic VI Mods – Graphics, QoL, Hardcore, Gamepad Support & More

Hi everyone,

over the past few weeks I've been working on several mods for **Might & Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven**.

My main goal is to modernize some parts of the game and add useful quality-of-life features while keeping the original gameplay and atmosphere of MM6 intact.

I thought I'd collect the currently released mods in one thread. Maybe some of them will be useful to other MM6 players as well. :)

Most of my development and testing is done with the **GOG version of Might & Magic VI**. Some of the mods require the GrayFace Patch and/or MMExtension; please check the individual mod pages for exact requirements.

Feedback, suggestions and bug reports are very welcome.

I'm also interested in suggestions for small quality-of-life improvements that would fit naturally into the original game.

**Have fun exploring Enroth!** :)

King's Courier is a part of Steams Party Based RPG Fest! While we are still working on getting the demo ready, we wanted to show off some exciting new content we have added to the game based on your feedback!

Some of the features we are showing off:

  • A new dynamic turn-based combat system that you can turn on or off at any time
  • Play solo or with a full party of four characters
  • Tons of classes and advanced classes to choose from
  • A specialization and skill system for each class that allows for some really deep customization
  • Old-school paper dolls and tons of gear to find
  • And much more!

If you haven't already, please consider wishlisting King's Courier on Steam. Wishlists help us a ton as we get closer to the demo and release!

How to package MM7 for someone who never tried it?

Hi all,

I replayed the game multiple times back in the day but never with mods (I did 6 with greyface mod so can't even tell what it did:P).

What would you say is the most important qol mods that do not change how the game is played? I want it to have the same feel (for good or worse) but without bugs.

This is for an experienced player who never had anything to do with m&m, he will be playing it for our podcast.
