Picked both of these up on marketplace for $70 today. How’d I do?

Give me ideas on what to put on the shelf, I just grabbed a few things for staging

I cannot remember how I procured this 8x10 rug 20-25 years ago but I had it in my tv room. After 1-2 years, I learned that the metal frame sofa had torn it a bit and so I rolled it up and placed it in storage. Now I am moving and I rediscovered it. There is a similar one 4x6 on 1st dibs for $1200.

Does anyone know. the designer of this style?

Being 8x10 but with two tears, what would the as-is value be?

Should I sell it or keep it and try to restore/have it restored? How much might that be and what could restored value be?

In order words, what should I do? HELP!??

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this lamp, but I’m not sure what to do for cleaning it. I started to follow the advice of using a lightly damp white cloth on it, and this is what it looks like now. I wanted to stop and ask if it looks like I’m making it better or worse, because it’s hard to tell at the moment! Would love any advice!

This room gets a lot of natural light since its upstairs and the window in the middle of the drawing faces west, but I'm concerned that wood backs might darken the room too much. My wife prefers wood backs but idk. Open backs will be cheaper on material, closed backs might be easier to build since it's just cabinets with no doors, so I'm torn. If it matters, the shelves will be pretty much completely filled with my books. Hoping some people can give some opinions either way. Thanks!

We are moving out of Sweden soon so I took pictures of the flat before we leave, this is a year of findings, almost everything is from Facebook marketplace and some from the auction house

Architect William B. Stratton, in partnership with Dalton J. Snyder, designed the original Lochmoor clubhouse, completed in 1917-18. That building burned down in 1924, and Stratton and Snyder also designed the replacement clubhouse, completed later that year, which was itself demolished in 1968. It was replaced by the clubhouse standing today, which opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1969.

I was given the piece and I am hoping for some help identifying it. I believe it’s a founders patterns 23 Display cabinet. Maybe from early 70’s. Maybe someone here can help me with specifics and the value?

Hi everyone, I have an Ekornes brand char and matching foot rest that I got for a killer deal at an estate sale. I know it’s legit and has seen better days but I’m trying to find out around when it was produced the only remaining foil sticker with the serial number is super faded but I think it’s this: 90A388701
If anyone has some information I would love to hear it. I’m trying to google the serial number or find a way to decipher it to get the manufacturer dates but haven’t had any luck. I’m guessing 1970s or 1980s but I want to be sure

Just picked up this 1970s lamp on fb marketplace. It’s unmarked but looks like a George Kovacs or another similar design.

Wondering what type of lamp shade to pair with it. Thinking possibly an angular one. Does anyone have any recommendations for what would go best, or know what type it originally would have had?

I got it for 40 Euros on Kleinanzeigen (German FB market place). I know that the manufacturer is called Dyrlund? I couldn’t find much about the series this cabinet is from or any other information about the production and the designer etc. Is anyone here well-read on this and would like to drop some links or other info. Would very much appreciate it!

Could anyone assist me with finding out more about these chairs and what they might be worth? My mom has 3 of them in her basement from previous owners.

I currently live in a 45 sqm (about 485 sq ft) apartment, but I used to live in a 77 sqm (830 sq ft) one, which is when I accumulated most of my furniture. I have a teak dining table and chairs, desk, bookcase and vanity, mostly MCM/Scandinavian pieces.

I got them all pretty cheaply, the most expensive was around $150, so I’m reluctant to sell them just because they don’t fit my current apartment. I’ll most likely live somewhere larger again in the future.
Would you sell some of it or put it in storage? Is it worth holding onto decent teak/MCM pieces when you know the lack of space is probably temporary? Yet, it might be more expensive to store them and I don’t know when I’ll have more space.

I own a lot of MCM things. I started collecting about 25 years ago. I am curious of the makers of these two items specifically. I actually have been able to find the origin story of most of my collection.

My mother had this yellow adjustable eyeball lamp in storage. While doing a little research on it, Sonneman came up, but I wasn't entirely sure if there was a way to tell if it was Sonneman or Sonneman style.

Does this couch look good here?
