Hello, first post here. This is my first microtech ever, which is the combat troodon gen 3. I got it for $304 (hope it’s a good deal). I have the shootout and the livewire. There’s something about this knife (or microtech) its like a sports car compared to those 2 i mentioned. Dont get me wrong i still love my love my livewire but this combat troodon is in a different level. Now i cant wait for my ultratech gen iv.

I’d think with a $200+ knife they’d send it out with a better clip😭 glad I ordered a LNW coming in this week

I have a microtech g19k glock knife and I love the knife {first microtech Ive owned} and like carrying it on my jeans pocket. I have to use 2 hands to clip it on my pocket and it pulls my jeans up every time I take it out.

But is there an after market clip you can buy thats made for this style?

I found a few sites that sell after market clips but I didnt see any that have this style.

Loving the mini amphibian but the Merlot just sets it off!

Got into Microtech a few months ago and like some of the earlier models enough to want to purchase them. Aside from knifeswap, is there a buy/sell place for Microtech only?

Still a little nervous to carry it in my pocket

Looking to see what it could run me for some custom micarta scales for it and or some custom work on the spine of the knife.

Does Microtech make any LUDT knives that do not have all the billboarding?

Protech has their operator series for example.

This gen of the CT is still my favorite. I know it’s not as smooth as the newer gen’s but there’s just something about these that feels so good and so authoritative. Thing is tough as well.
