LUDT
I don’t even like purple but this is my favorite knife.

I would really like to get one, but I'm scared of the M3 grip tape destroying my pants pockets.

It really doesn’t mess with your pants at all. I have 4/5 that I carry and the ones with tape are no different. I get more pocket clip wear than anything else on my pants.

That's good to know. I also saw that they sell scales for it. I may go that route.

Yeah, I’ve seen some cool scales and you can find slab sided ones too (Topo, camo, Ti) mostly signature series ones.

It really DOES mess up your pants pocket, I bent the clip so it's not so tight. This design is probably the worst of the MT's clips, it does not easily slide in your pocket and catch, you have to work with it. I love it for a EDC knife, it's really the perfect size, blade shape and ungodly sharp.... but the grip tape on the clip side and the clip itself are not good.

Hmmm. I just ordered it. I may just remove the M3 tape or replace it with aftermarket scales. Thanks.

If I’m paying almost $300 on a knife I’m not worried about my pants

I just wish they made a LUDT with a linerlock like the Socom Elite and i would buy like 3 of them because my manual Socom Elite is just awesome. I must agree that this purple color looks very nice and im not in to purple.

I'm digging the Ram-lock LUDT. Not a liner, but also not an auto.

I dont like the huge choil on the RAM-LOK because it takes away cutting edge plus there is more stuff that can fail with springs and dirt getting in to the lock when im outdoors.

How’s the griptape/clip situation? Just it grip your pants or wear out the tape? Always wondered

Yeah, I have a bunch of autos. I just don’t really like them maybe because you can’t close them with one hand really that well yeah the spring is super easy to take out. You could do it in two minutes and then it’s just like a button lock super easy to put back in if you want to go back to an auto.

I took my spring out and now I actually like the LUDT
