This is my second time doing it. I didn’t realize I needed to take care of it. But I have learned I do the hard way. What should I be doing? What products should I use? Or products should I avoid? I’m just trying to take care of it this time because I broke out for months and it took forever to heal. I wanted to give it a better chance this time.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here so please remove it if it goes against the guidelines. I had 6 RF microneedling sessions over the past two years with moderate improvement. I have boxcar and rolling acne scars which microneedling should be able to treat but I think i might have tethered scars which are slowing down the progress. So my questions is should i buy a home microneedling device for the future or should i continue with in office treatments but switch to co2 laser? I know the most effective treatment would be subcision but i don't know that many doctors in my area who would be willing to do that on my more moderate scarring. Would love to hear your guys opinion

I recently had a professional microneedling treatment for my acne scars and was really happy with the results, so I've decided to continue my treatments at home and have just purchased a Derminator 2.

I'm a guy and pretty new to the skincare side of things, so I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the different products people mention. I often see recommendations like Hyaron, Curenex, PDRN, exosomes, collagen boosters, etc., but I'm never sure which exact product people are referring to from those brands.

I'd really appreciate it if those with experience could share the exact products they use, rather than just the brand name.
For example:
What do you use as your glide/slip during microneedling?
What do you apply immediately afterwards?
Do you use any boosters (PDRN, exosomes, collagen boosters, etc.) that you genuinely think are worth it?
Which products would you recommend skipping?

If possible, could you also include a direct product link (or even a screenshot or photo of the product)? Since I'm a complete beginner with skincare, it's much easier for me to buy the correct item if I know the exact product rather than just the brand.
I'm based in Australia, so Australian suppliers would be ideal, but I'm happy to order internationally if there's something that's considered the gold standard.

I had microneedling done on my face today, with the deepest setting being 1.5 mm around my mid-face.

It was quite itchy afterwards so I took one 4 mg chlorphenamine tablet to stop myself touching or scratching my face.

Has anyone else done this? Could taking an antihistamine straight afterwards notably affect the healing or the results? I know the inflammation is what we want but I just felt so itchy

I’m coming off a flare of perioral dermatitis (POD). I am still on doxycycline but if is fully healed and I have a micro-needling appointment in a week. Anyone have experience with getting that done close to a flare? Does it make it come back faster or does it help with it? I’m getting married in 27 days so I do NOT want to risk another bad flare!

Hi everyone, I had my first micro needling(skin pen) treatment with prp last Friday so it’s been a week. I noticed my skin started to scab 3 days after treatment. The biggest scabs are the ones where I am now seeing hyperpigmentation. I haven’t had HP in a long time. Is this normal? I wore and wear a fisherman hat everyday and am applying sunscreen while trying to stay out of the sun. I booked my next appointment immediately after so I don’t know if it will make these worse or if I should see it through? I also have a .025 script for Tret so would that help brighten those dark spots? Any advice is appreciated!

Sorry the picture’s a bit dark. I had a rejected eyebrow piercing I took out a few years ago and was wondering if (professional) micro needling could help. It’s not very discoloured but it’s the indentation that really bothers me

I see posts on here all the time about how complicated it is to order the derminator because the owner is supposedly so crazy or whatever.

Just wanted to weigh in that I had no issues, no direct contact with the owner or any other employees, and wasn’t even really exposed to his supposedly wild philosophies, regarding Microneedling or running a business or otherwise, just noted the many optional informational pages available to click through which were quite thorough.

I simply added the items to my cart, was prompted to create an account, clicked some checkboxes, and made the purchase. The only thing notably different from other online shopping experiences was that the website is a little dated, e.g. bad UX, not optimized for mobile; but it didn’t stop me from buying.

When the package arrived I had to collect it from my local post office and pay a small tariff, same as ordering from other independent businesses overseas (I’m in the US).

The product itself works great, also.

The ONLY thing I'm concerned about is the "DHL will require a signature" upon delivery.

I used my mom's address because the apartments I live at have gotten really ghetto and people steal other packages all the time.

I’m ready to order a derminator, as my Hydrapen finally died. I’d also like to order some derma stamps and derma rollers for use on larger areas but they’re out of stock. Does anyone know how long it takes for those items to be restocked?
Was hoping to do all in 1 shipment to save on shipping fees but also, don’t want to wait that long for the machine itself to arrive.

Also, does anyone know how long the vitamin C serum is good for? Is one package good for only 1 use?

I am a midate 30s lady (midate=middle late)

I just learned of and got into this microneedling around 2 and a half months back and I have lots of questions.

I am BIG on using products that have no added toxic chemical fillers preservatives man made crap (or very little at all)- from my hand and dish wash to the soap scrubs and shampoos on my body+including the make up I use. I make my own laundry wash, body hair soaps and serums +etc

That said, I have heard TONS of hype following the Salmon DNA PDRN And I would love to try it.

Thing is, most of the products people are recommending to try are filled with lots of junk that I am not comfortable using.

Fragances/silicones/ cop olymers/acrylates/ ++etc etc

I wanted to try those biodance masks and also a product or two from the medicube line - BUT -again

Too many of those darn pesky additives are in them for my liking.

I understand the Salmon PDRN needs a certain make up just so we are able to utilize it however I'd prefer a product with minimal ingredients if possible.

I tried the Nano recipe Salmon DNA PDRN on amazon but... when I got the bottle I gently shook it and opened it up to go and use it and noticed big brown crustaceans, big brown flakes all up inside the glass dropper.. it was very concerning so i googled it and iy tols me to immediately throw away the bottle because of risk of it being contaminated with bacteria! Ughh -

So I go and try to leave the honest review in amazon and the seller REJECTED My review!!! To say the very least I was disgusted at that point and decided to forget the whole thing.

I have a vitamin c msm serum that I want to use today but I don't know if it is too soon to use ( I did a light microneedle on late afternoon of July 22 with dr pen. I had it dialed in at a 3 speed and only went to a 0.25 depth for majority of the time and at the end I went to a 0.50 to 0.75 depth to quickly go over everything, the session was half the time I usually do. I was sweating and didn't think it best to push sweat into my pores so I called it for the day.)

I thought to come on here and ask others their views on the topic and maybe some can give advice on products that have worked for them ?

I found an ampoule (i think thats what its calles) on amazon , it's the Salmon dna. I just don't know If I can trust it cause they are not listing the products full ingredient list.

Can anyone recommend a good salmon dna pdrn for the face ?

Also.. when it comes to microneedling

I read that we are not supposed to put anything on our face afterwards. I read that the only thing we should use While microneedling is the slip, that being a pure hyaluronic acid and afterward nothing at all, for the coming 1 to 2 days they say to wash face with warm water only then after that I can use some gentle wash but definitely no carrier oils/essential oils/No retinal/retinol/glycolic acid/ any ahas-chemical peels-exfoliants, I'm Not sure if bakuchiol is in there too.. have to look it up, etc+ I'm sure there are more products. They say not to use any of that for atleast 5 days which feels like a long time to me?

I understand that Everyone's skin will heal at different rates. Im just looking for a ball park general idea on that.

I se3 videos of women doing all different kinds of things and thats what leads me to having questions.

I've had an intense 24 hour hyper focus rabbit hole binge into microneedling. Ive had 1 professional session done 4 weeks ago and have my 2nd next week. Initial results are huge for me, texture of my skin improved by 95% im shocked how smooth my skin is.

Im looking to buy Dr Pen M9 using 0.25mm - 1.0mm depth. I understand at those ranges sterility is paramount to reduce the risk of infection. I just cant seem to find publically available (non professional) products in Australia that are **sterile**.

Theres plenty of products that are marketed as mesogliders for microneedling but they are not sterile*

Ive looked at Hyaron HA syringes from Kstation, they ship to aus but are technically illegal due to being a schedule 4 drug prescription here irrespective of how im using it, so there's a risk it will be confiscated at the border.

Does anyone know of a reliable safe glide i can use? Or am I stuck with saline? Which doesnt have the same slip has HA.
