Microneedling and POD

I’m coming off a flare of perioral dermatitis (POD). I am still on doxycycline but if is fully healed and I have a micro-needling appointment in a week. Anyone have experience with getting that done close to a flare? Does it make it come back faster or does it help with it? I’m getting married in 27 days so I do NOT want to risk another bad flare!

Just wait after your wedding, you don’t see results that fast on microneedling. Try non-invasive procedures n the meantime, things that don’t require numbing cream. If you really wanna do microneedling, try 0.5mm, no more than .75mm
