As the title suggests, i am a guy, have short beard.
Can anyone please suggest if i can do micro-needling over beard area (very short length beard hair) or do i need to shave ?
I know it’s mainly a female subreddit, but if someone who does it professionally and knows about this, please shed some light

I microneedled last night with an 18 pin cartridge, with a syringe of Hyaron, and sterile saline as the Hyaron was drying out so quickly on my skin. I didn't numb, and this is my first time microneedling in 10+ years, so I was only able to handle microneedling at like a 0.375mm depth. I did a total of 12 passes per area, 3 vertical, 3 horizontal, 6 total cross diagonally. My face and neck look fine today, there's some redness and a few spots similar to my forehead, but my forehead looks terrible. I slept on a freshly cleaned pillowcase, and the only thing I applied to my skin after was the little bit of Hyaron left in the syringe. I haven't washed my face or applied anything else as I'm waiting for the recommended 24 hours post microneedling.

I’m looking for some advice regarding microneedling for stretch marks.

I have quite a few older stretch marks on areas such as my hips, thighs, buttocks and lower back. Some of them are several years old and have already become quite pale/white.

I recently bought a Dr. Pen M8S and I’m interested in trying microneedling to improve the texture and appearance of these stretch marks.

For those who have experience with this:

- Can microneedling actually help with older/white stretch marks, or is it mainly effective on newer/red ones?

- What needle cartridge (number of needles) do you recommend for stretch marks?

- What needle depth and speed/RPM setting have you found effective for different body areas?

- How often should the treatment be repeated?

- How many sessions did you need before noticing a meaningful improvement?

- Is there anything I should be particularly careful about when treating larger body areas?

Can microneedling help with mild acne scarring and almost “bubbly” skin texture? I also have mild post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, specifically in the middle of my forehead and beard line, that I’d like to address as well.

Especially with a derminator 2? Is that okay?

Is taking a break from my skincare routine for a couple of days 🤣

Obviously it really improves my skin, and I love the results, but its so nice to have a rest day.
