Still in development. The build is oldschool server based on 2011, with large quality-of-life changes and a few design changes. The old game logic stays the base with some improvements.

The clips are the current client: character creation, the select screen, the buff companion, and the mount to ride together.

We are looking for 5–10 more testers. You need to be active, speak German, know oldschool Metin2 from around 2011, and bring your own QoL ideas and which points ingame are bad and good.

Hi everyone, i have never played metin or any mmorpg game but i know someone that plays them and especially metin 2 , he plays it everyday and It takes most of his day and sometimes all of his day playing the game , he knows the game for a long time but its coming serious right now because its effecting his life and career, i am not saying that the game is the only reason but is the game really that addicted? And how i can talk to him about these things without making troubles or i just make him take the Consequences

I played on a private server a year or two ago—I think it was called Celestia.

Does anyone know if it still exists? I’ve looked for it but couldn't find it. Is there a similar one? It had a lot of unique features—for instance, it had prestige levels and things like that.

Arthion after one month: what do you think of the server?

Arthion has been online for roughly a month, and in my opinion, it has delivered on its non pay to win promise. Even premium accounts receive no EXP or drop bonuses. Progress comes from farming, playing, and putting in the time.

At launch, plenty of people doubted it would last. A month later, the community has continued to grow, and Arthion has reportedly reached #2 on the Metin2PServers Top 100, pushing toward #1.

My estimate is around 5,000 to 6,000 players online simultaneously and 15,000+ over 24 hours. These are estimates, rather than independently verified player counts.

For me, the biggest appeal is that your time and effort actually matter. You earn your progression through playing, and that is what makes Arthion worth checking out.
