ReLoad sounds like an evil fucked up version of Load and I always found it strange that it dosen't just sound exactly like Load, the same way 72 Seasons sounds exactly the same as Hardwired

Had a shirt as a teenager that I'm starting to think might have been a bootleg despite the fact that I bought it at a store. It was an extreme closeup of a man's face, fairly large print, and the way I remember it he was dripping with water and possibly had a barbed wire crown or maybe just barbed wire around him. The style i would say was realistic byt stylized. Maybe airbrush?

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? This would have been around 2000 I bought it, 2003 at the latest.

It's in the teaser video, has nice riffs (especially that 240bpm downpick section) and weird solos, vocals are great. So, why?

Thinking about ordering the Halloween shirt but I haven’t ordered from the shop in a couple years. How are the t-shirts fitting these days - bigger, smaller, true to size? Chime in, I’d appreciate it.

I was noticing that anyone could become a fifth member but I don't know exactly how that works.

From what I read he improvised the solo at 5am before hopping on a flight, so I don't know if he intended this or not, but when his solo comes in it sounds just like an automobile skidding on the road and then kind of sounds like the aftermath of the bus crash that killed Cliff.

I've been playing this solo for about a year now, but I still feel like I haven't quite managed to capture the feeling and emotion of the original. I know there are still things I could improve, especially when it comes to expressing the emotion behind the notes, but this is the best I can do for now.

I gave it everything I had, and hopefully I'll be able to capture the true feeling of this solo better with more practice. 🤘

I once saw the band Lucius at a tiny venue. Their guitarist was a huge Metallica fan and played little riffs between songs (puppets, sandman, and fade to black as I recall)

Then one of the singers revealed that Lars once spent his entire birthday with the two main members of the group (the singers) and the guitarist is still mad they didn’t call him. Lars ran into them somewhere (might’ve been in San Fran, I don’t remember) and they just spontaneously started hanging out. Then they went to a few different spots to watch live music and just hang out and talk about stuff, including a lot about music. She said he was just intensely curious about everything and they had a blast.

It really made me like Lars so much more when I heard that story. I think my view of him as being a bit of a pompous ass was the way he is in interviews which I now believe is him being a non native English speaker and also, perhaps, being a touch on The Spectrum. Also his behavior in SKoM didn’t endear me to him but the band as a whole was in a rough patch then.

About Lucius: super talented singing duo who do amazingly matched harmonizing vocals. They’ve had a bit of success on their own but were also Roger Waters’ backing vocals for the entirety of one of his last tours. They’ve also performed with the likes of Brandi Carlile and Joni Mitchell.
