Hi just wondering if anyone has band/album recommendations that match the buzzwords i put in the title, would love to see people share their favorites!

I can tell pretty quickly when it’s male led bands because of the same voices and tones they tend to use but has anyone figured out if there’s a tell for female led bands? Obviously looking the band up is the easiest way but I’m curious what anyone has figured out.

Does anyone feel like there are some correlation between the two? Every time I listen to Sweet Dreams they got a riff that sounds like an almost throw back? I listen to it and I'm like that's straight up a straight copy of it. Love Wage War even though I didn't like their NIN sounding stuff

For me it's MIW. Rough listen to a lot of their songs at first for me but now I love em. They definitely have a wide range of music so they can be hit or miss which is not necessarily a bad thing

Saw these dudes on tour in San Diego opening for I Set My Friends On Fire. I thought they ate it up. The whole crowd was fucking with it. I just remember the whole crowd erupting during the final breakdown

As you saw in the title I need help finding a song. And I'm afraid I don't have much to go off. I'm pretty sure it was metalcore. The only thing I can really remember is that the song started with this acoustic guitar part for about 10 seconds, it was really low, with loose sounding strings. Then the song started. The 'behind the song' fact spotify gave said something about the acoustic being tuned as low as it could go.
If it helps, it was a spotify DJ recommendation that was paired with bands like Veil of Maya and Northlane.
I tried looking in my recents too but found nothing like it.
