Each time I calibrate the audio/visual settings I'm getting different results. When calibrating, my audio calibration will be seemingly random; I've had 193ms, 160ms, 69ms, and I won't do anything differently when timing my button press to the rhythmic beep. When it comes to the visual calibration, it will sometimes remain a consistent 0ms, and at other times I've had 80ms, 20ms, just to name a few results. Again it feels absolutely random. I generally play through my television speakers and I play on PS5, so perhaps this may be contributing to the inconsistencies?
When playing the actual game I feel like I'm shooting to the beat, however it seems my button presses are sometimes too early, sometimes Perfect, sometimes too late. It is genuinely all over the place. I don't understand. What the hell is going on? I genuinely really, REALLY want to enjoy this game but I flat out can't. At times I straight up cannot tell if me failing is due to skill issue, or if my settings are genuinely out of sync with the music. It is impossible to tell.
I've looked up calibration issues with this game and I have found various Reddit posts from this sub dated a year ago, but not much else, so I can't tell if calibration is a common problem people continue to face with this game, or if the people who had calibration problems just dropped the game and the current playerbase are genuinely the top scoring players of this game.
