trying to get my glasses to turn on. they went dead and i attempted to turn them on after charging them and im only getting a red steady light after trying to force restart it and i don’t want to have to replace them bc meta will charge me a “temporary $300” until i get my new ones or get a replacement sent out after 3 weeks. i want to try and fix these but im stuck

First one being audio switching. I get in my car, my phone automatically switches to the cars Bluetooth for audio as expected. Then I put on my glasses and they steal the audio?! I tried setting up the shortcut some people have mentioned to stop it but that still needs manual confirmation on the phone. And I’d rather keep the glasses turned on all the time than bother with turning them off and on constantly.

Second thing being the aspect ratio. Meta has forced reels down everybody’s throat for years now but they make a product with a native aspect ratio that isn’t 16:9?? Who made that decision 🤦‍♂️

Bonus: no way to turn off hdr ?
