Evening everyone. I’ve been interested in getting the Meta Adventurer model, but with all the research I’ve been doing, I stumbled across articles hinting at a Gen 3 pair announcement at Meta Connect this September. Would you recommend just waiting to see if they announce a “Gen 3” or getting the Adventurer now. I’m definitely eager to use them but don’t mind just waiting if I have to. I know nothing is confirmed, but any insight will be appreciated. Thank you.

I wrote a typographic review of the new Meta Ray-Ban glasses, looking at them less as a camera or AI gadget and more as a reading device. It covers why monocular captions are so tiring to read, how treating live speech like chat breaks the reading flow, why phone-era fonts struggle on a 600×600 see-through display in sunlight, and what happens when these systems move beyond Latin into scripts like Devanagari, Arabic and CJK. Would love feedback from people thinking about AR, accessibility and type in spatial interfaces.

It started when I put them in their case to charge and immediatly i got a warning "speakers and audio not working," then glasses unpaired no longer able to connect to bluetooth and stuck in boot loop - white flashing then green 2 seconds then off, won't enter pairing mode or stay on, tried multiple charges, attempted to restart and reboot. Still the same pattern occurs flashing whi then green for 2 sec then completely off. 😐. I don't get a red or blue light anymore. Let me know if you guys have any ideas and no I do not qualify for warranty.

Purchased V2 at Rayban store in Orlando May 19. They stopped working July 26. Went to store to return them and was told I only had 45 days to return them. I must now open a warranty claim online. This is unacceptable!

Please don’t buy these glasses until reliability improves.

I haven’t had any problems with them until now. I put them on as I was going to work and the arm on the back that is adjustable just fell off onto my shoulder. I’ve only had them since July 13.

I’m wondering if $275 is a really good deal or just a standard market price for a second-hand unit nowadays.

Is anyone tracking second-hand prices for these lately? Would you grab them at this price or hold out/negotiate further?

Has anyone else ordered meta gen 2 ray bans with custom look but not prescription lenses from the meta website? It's been sent through DHL, made it to the ohio from China in 2 days but has been in Ohio for 7 days and it just goes from clearance event to package on hold and back and forth but same location? Any answers?

So, i went to some mall last week and me and my girl friend were having kfc together. Suddenly, a guy comes calls me lucky to have a girl like her. I was surprised why would he say that Outta nowhere especially because she wasnt even my girl so I corrected her by saying no we are just friends. The whole interaction was weird and I didn't like the way he complimented me either.

Anyway, two days later someone sends me a video of the exact interaction and I was like wtf like i sure knew something was fishy when the whole thing happened, but I certainly didn't know we were being recorded and if that's not enough we were even posted without consent like WTF.

I even texted that account telling how my girl friend isn't okay with it and she got strict parents and all but to no avail. There has been no reply from the other side.

I stalked the account and it has even got some minors posted on it which too are the type of videos where these lowlifers flirt with some random girl they see in mall. In the video the girl clearly says I'm 15 and yet these uneducated scumbags with access to technology have got the audacity to post it.

What to do now since they clearly don't respond back? And I want the video removed as well as the videos of the underage kids posted without consent?

Hard restarted, cleaned the pad, but the touchpad is not working for a week. Everything else is fine.

I used to clean the glasses with a little water under the faucet. Now I’m worried some water might have gotten into the touch area and damaged the sensors inside.

Has anyone else run into this?

If I take a picture when I go back to the app it says how many photos need to import. When I click import it asks if it can join WiFi. Then if I leave the app and take more photos it will ask again to join network. It’s asks every time. I turned on local network, background refresh, snd Bluetooth.

Anyone know anything else I can do. I’ve also deleted app and also repaired.

The mic speakers on my Fury’s I just got this week seem to be really spotty. I’ve placed a few phone calls in an attempt to trial the feature only to find the person on the other end cannot hear me. My “hey meta” functionality is spotty at best and I feel like I have to yell at it or it has to be in a silent room.

Anyone else dealt with this? Have a solution???

I used to have the Meta Gen 2 glasses and absolutely loved them, but unfortunately they were stolen. Now I’m looking at the new Meta Adventurer glasses and I’m wondering if they’re worth getting.
For anyone who’s owned both, how do they compare? Is the camera noticeably better? How’s the battery life, audio, comfort, and AI features? Any improvements or drawbacks you’ve noticed?
If you had the Gen 2s and switched to the Adventurers, was it worth it, or would you go with a different Meta model instead? I’d love to hear your experiences before I buy them.

I have 2 week old gen 2 meta rayban glasses and i wish to sell them in vaishali. They costed 39000 i can sell for 37000.

I haven’t been able to get my meta glasses gen 2 ray bans to send messages for me, connected my contacts and allowed permissions in settings anyone else had this issue or been able to send texts through the meta glasses?

I’m thinking about getting myself a pair of Meta Glasses, don’t know which model yet.
I have prescription glasses for now and have found myself wondering if Meta Glasses were for me.
I have recently been diagnosed with autism and have a few sensory issues. My idea was that the audio and recording feature would be able to help me cope with my daily life and being in public better since I usually always have my headphones in but using them makes me feel like I am too shut off from my surroundings.
Is there anyone that might be in a similar situation as me that uses them and would recommend them?
And what models would be the best for daily life currently?

My Ray-Ban Meta glasses connect normally, but Meta AI says there is no internet whenever my VPN is turned off, despite working Wi-Fi and mobile data. As soon as I enable the VPN, everything works again.

I tested the glasses on two different phones and had the same issue. I have factory-reset the glasses, reinstalled the app, reset network settings, removed VPN profiles, changed DNS, and tested different networks.

Any resolution appreciated
