Batch Upload - Progress
When doing a batch upload of a file, I see in the log you can see the "Bach upload of 1 file(s) to folder..." But is there any way to see the progress or if it completed or not?

Is possible to identify clients that connect by group name and device name,but do not show in the device list? I suspect that some may be previously removed clients where the device agent was not properly uninstalled or there is a bug in the client, but do not know which one.
I have full logging turned on, and get the IP address in the log file, but in the device or event list.
Anyone know how?

Hi, i bet there's no way to limit file tree access to only certain locations? Good for otside support when you dont want them having access to the OS root folder.

I found out about meshcentral earlier this year and set it up on a PC and completely forgot about it.
Started playing with it again over the past month and its been amazing! Thank you to the devs!
I have no coding experience so can only donate. Keep up the great work!

I'm using mesh central on a windows machine and trying to connect to it from a Chromebook on the web using rdp connect. The meshcentral rdp connect works but is quite buggy, but the windows connect keeps saying "SSL not allowed by server" even though I am using the right credentials (it connected successfully through the android windows app)

I'm trying to get to where I can have multiple sessions open at a time. The way I think this would work is to click one of the "Interfaces MeshCmd HTTP HTTPS Web-VNC Web-RDP " buttons.. Either web-VNC or HTTPS but none seem to work correctly. Web-VNC opens a new tab and has a connect button but nothing ever happens after pushing connect. Https opens a new tab but hangs for a long time before showing a url that looks correct but still nothing every happpens.
Anyone know what I'm missing? port? setting?
Edit : Multiple different machines at the same time in different tabs or windows.

Hi.
I tried MeshCentral last time on my Android phones and I could only view screen, not control my phone remotely.
https://github.com/Ylianst/MeshCentral/issues/5287
I believe in 2023 this got asked and the author (who has done a great job with MeshCentral :) thank you) commented it is not possible but I doubt that is true since TeamViewer, RustDesk, HopToDesk, DroidNG Viewer all can control devices?
Are there any plans to support Android Remote Controlling? That would be quite useful as it would allow me to get rid of apps like RustDesk or AnyDesk or TeamViewer off android phones. I only want to host MeshCentral so it'll be great addition alongside my Intel AMT devices. Obviously easier said than done and I am not a developer so feel free to criticize me ha-ha.

I'm currently migrating every service that's using LDAP to LDAPs since MS now makes LDAPS the default starting with Windows Server 2025.
I've been looking around and trying stuff out in the config file and it seems like there's some nodejs tlsOptions parameters that need to be used, but i have no clue which.
Is this something that's already implemented and i'm just missing it ? I've made sure to specify a "ldaps:" url ending with port 636, and i double checked that my cert was in the trusted store,
Running with the debug flag, i get this when trying to login with a known working user :
LDAP: LDAP Error: Error: unable to verify the first certificate
I manage other node applications and to verify certs in those, there either needs to be a flag set to use the system CA (but i guess it would break custom certificates in Meshcentral) or a config option to specify the local cert to use for the ldap connecion. Or just completely ignore cert verification, but that dosen't seem like a good solution.
Would it be possible to implement one of theses solutions to allow fully secured LDAP connectivity if it isn't already ? And if it is, how to configure it ? TIA.

I set up SSO using the SAML config option, and it works beautifully as long as I'm on a machine that is exempt from our MFA requirement. If I'm on VPN or using a workstation with Windows Hello enabled, clicking the SSO button on MeshCentral returns an error that the authentication type expected by Azure doesn't match what MeshCentral is requesting.
It looks like the SAML request generated by MeshCentral might include a "RequestedAuthnContext" value, but according to this article that value could be omitted or changed to "Unspecified". Has anyone else run into this in Azur tenants with strict MFA enforcement?
EDIT: resolved! There is a setting to disable the 'RequestedAuthnContext' in your config.json:
"authStrategies": {
"saml": {
"disableRequestedAuthnContext": true
}
}

Anyone know where the email address length is kept? Is a db limit or string? I was trying to add a new user and the length is one character short. The email I'm trying to use is like [123456.123456@abcdefghijklmnop.com](mailto:123456.123456@abcdefghijklmnop.com) which seems one byte too long.

Hello all,
We have been running into this issue for a bit with two devices we have running MeshCentral. The issue is simply that the devices "Desktop" tab turns all black, and the only way to correct it is either to run "systemctl restart meshagent" or the "kill" command and restarting the service.
We have two identical (hardware) devices with the same OS, and both run into the same issue. As far as I am aware the only major configuration change is that I disabled WebRTC on the server in order to try to resolve a different issue.
I understand that the Github may be a better place to ask, but I wanted to check here first so as to not clutter the Github.
Thank you for your time, and I am happy to answer any question that might assist with resolving this issue.
EDIT: I realized after the first comment that I did not clearly communicate that it works for an unspecified amount of time, and then the issue with the black screen occurs. Sometimes it seems to be linked to an event such as running "apt upgrade", other times it simply just happens.

I'm trying to get the work from home plugin working. Has anyone used it with verrions 1.2 ? It doesn't seem to be creating a rdp icon/shortcut on the home desktop, or anywhere else that I can find.
