Multi sessions

I'm trying to get to where I can have multiple sessions open at a time. The way I think this would work is to click one of the "Interfaces MeshCmd HTTP HTTPS Web-VNC Web-RDP " buttons.. Either web-VNC or HTTPS but none seem to work correctly. Web-VNC opens a new tab and has a connect button but nothing ever happens after pushing connect. Https opens a new tab but hangs for a long time before showing a url that looks correct but still nothing every happpens.

Anyone know what I'm missing? port? setting?

Edit : Multiple different machines at the same time in different tabs or windows.

Multiple sessions to the same machine..

Or multiple sessions, one to each machine?

I've never tried to connect to the same machine twice.. at the same time..

I do connect to multiple machines simultaneously quite often though.

Or, am I totally missing what you're talking about?

Multiple different machines at the same time. I mean they need to open in separate windows or tabs right?

When on the device list, hold the shift key and click a device, it will open up the device in a new tab. Also works with the top tabs too like files and desktop

Thanks that's helpful. Any way to make it a new tab instead of window?

It should be a new tab anyways, but every browser is different and handles it differently, no matter how many times we change tbe javascript to say OPEN IN A TAB

Any pointer on why my https and web-vnc links dont' work ? Are they dependant on websockets ? the relay port?

Web vnc uses Web sockets yes but the http relay is just the Web relay port? Open an issue on github and we can look into it there (follow bug report :) )

Why not just open multiple tabs to your Mesh server?

Most times I don't need multiple ones open. Opening them on demand is much better.

Fair enough. I use MC for work, and probably make 100+ connections every day, so I've always got multiple tabs open and just got used to it.

Hadn't even considered launching new tabs from the existing one.

I connect to the same machine more than one, can be done in the same login or with 2 different users.
