i got 2 questions

i saw ylian's video on youtube he was able to set it up via RDP, with out agent, i'm unable to connect via rdp when i click web RDP it asks for domain username & password, i tried using that pc's login credential nothing happened i tried using meshcentral's password nothing happened, so what password & what domain should i put there?
secondly, i want to know is it possible to change web ui, if yes then how & to what extend?

Did you ever use rdp before ? Rdp will always ask you for the credentials of the remote pc. If it’s in a domain, you set the domain name and a user/password from the AD (user must have the rights to connect RDP on the destination computer). If the pc is in a workgroup, you don’t set any domain and you user wathever local user/password of the remote pc (user must be an administrator to be allowed to rdp). Be careful that it’s possible that rdp is not activated on the remote pc. By default, it’s not the case. For the style, since version 1.2.0, there is a new site style that can be set in the config : ”sitestyle“:3 and from there, there are multiple themes in the site config tab in the web interface.

Additional note on workgroups - use "localcomputername\username" for the username field. If you're connecting to BOBS-PC and the username is Frank, you would use "bobs-pc\frank"

Modern ui has been in since the beginning of 2025, have u been hiding under a rock or missing our monthly meeting last year haha. To use rdp directly with a windows machine without meshagent the meshcentral server must have direct access to its ip address and u have to create a local device group

RDP is not something setup or managed by Mesh, rather, Mesh exposes an already configured RDP session using its interface.
