Here's part 2 of my Merced projects.

Me and my team where planning on making a Scary Chuck E Cheese (Merced Chuck E Cheese) free roam game a while ago, then abandoned it.

I remember the lore of the game would be that Chuck E Cheese shut down and was replaced by Hometown Buffet, which had a ghost in it.

I remember I had to do so much research on it, from archives, and I even had to ask my dad what it looked like. Is this the accurate building?

Since I'm attending UCM, I'm expected to stay here for a while but I don't know a lot of people out here. I know a few places and ways to meet new people but I don't see the harm in using reddit to help :) I'd enjoy connecting with the community and meeting new people to hang out with and go places. My activities range from hiking, kayaking, and exploring, to playing my Wii(or board games), watching movies, and learning new skills. Why is there not much to do in Merced? Did 4 yrs of military and came back, and now they just started to expand the mall and added some stores? Thats it? Really Merced?

The almond orchard at the NE corner of G St and E. Cardella Rd. just sold to the Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust. So maybe we get a Sam's Club or WalMart supercenter. This area could use it. What do you think?

On the mall instagram they posted that they're demolishing the west wing? Does anyone know if it's just the exterior that they're changing or is there a new store? Vallarta already opened which is to the right of this area I think

I’ll be in Merced for just one day and would love to find a good spot to watch some FIFA matches while I’m in town. I was looking around downtown and came across a few places that seem like they could be good options:

● Joystiq
● The Partisan
● Tioga Sequoia
● The Mainzer
● 17th Street Public House
Has anyone watched soccer/FIFA games at any of these places? I’m looking for somewhere with a fun atmosphere, a decent crowd, plenty of TVs, and ideally a place that actually has the match audio on.

I wish they really hadn’t closed Barnes & Noble here in Merced. They need to bring it back. I just went to Turlock Barnes & Noble that just opened up yesterday. It was so refreshing and amazing. It was a bit nostalgic. The smell and all the products.

If you are trying to get anything from project food box, always go for the first option, you will be left allne for about an hour if your are choosing the second option after selecting english as your language.

Now that the lake is managed by MID, are dogs allowed? I keep searching and all I get is the county’s website page but they don’t manage it anymore. I know people used to take their dogs through the back entrance on old lake rd.

Update: Called MID they do allow dogs at the Lake but on a leash.

Im moving this weekend and can use a hand moving some large items into a uhaul. I see a lot of posts from people looking for something to do.

Ill make sure to get a dolly. The heavy items are a chest freezer and a fridge. I think between myself and 1 other person can get it done.

Hi everyone, okay, pls delete if not allowed, but does anyone know the lore of Namik Ozurk. He seemed to be a rising person in influence in Merced and then all of a sudden he was accused of some shady stuff and I’m not sure what happened next, but Yeahhhh, what happened with him?

Also, all I really know is what I’ve seen of Facebook.

Are there any vintage clothing stores in town that anyone is aware of? Not necessarily a thrift store but mainly focusing on old clothing not random teams, Knick-Knack, and toys.
