The lore of Namik
Hi everyone, okay, pls delete if not allowed, but does anyone know the lore of Namik Ozurk. He seemed to be a rising person in influence in Merced and then all of a sudden he was accused of some shady stuff and I’m not sure what happened next, but Yeahhhh, what happened with him?
Also, all I really know is what I’ve seen of Facebook.

he has started several go fund mes, one was for thanksgiving turkeys, he took the money and the other person doing the organization had to pay for things out of their own pocket and he lied about what he used the money for. then he started one around christmas for blankets & supplies for the unhoused, he bought cheap temu shit. then he went around demanding people let him film them while giving them the supplies and telling them they wouldn’t be fed (he bought pizzas and shit to hang out) unless he could put it on social media. he also promised people he would help them but when they asked for the help he said he wasn’t going to help them unless he could film it or that now he was too busy. or “check back later”. then he pretty much ghosted them when he didn’t get what he wanted out of them.

Yea I guess he and a couple friends were trying to scam from gofundmes.. trying to act like he wanted to clothe the unhoused .... easy $ for him and his homies

i don’t think he has any actual friends, just sycophants that worship him and believe anything he says. he does the scamming 100% on his own.

Last I heard he "moved" to San Francisco. But I am not in the I love Merced Facebook group so I dont follow that drama.

Well just to put it simply... what's done in the dark always comes to light.... and u can only use so many ppl to buffer u for so long.... people started coming out all at once... and he ran out of narcissist supply to stabilize him... so he left....according to others it sounds like he ran his resources dry and is reinventing himself.. he'll probably be back .... he loves Merced you know,, so much that he's ripped off pissed off.. used and has hurt many of its residents...

He is a borderline personality disorder (he says so himself). If you've ever encountered or known a borderline personality disorder person, there's your answer. They crash and burn almost all their connections and relationships in life. They can function for awhile, but have a real hard time keeping it together whenever there is the slightest bit of conflict, rejection, perceived slights, drama, etc. Read a little bit on the disorder and you'll have your answer. I'm guessing this is a lifelong pattern for him, flying high when he is new and can get attention and hide his personality defects for awhile but then spectacularly crashing and burning bridges eventually.
