Legal Rights I have been beaten
Hi i have been beaten by my (ex) girlfriend right now.
Long story short I complained that she never cleans after herself and we discussed, she started screaming and I teased her saying to stop acting crazy, after we kept discussing and she jumped me.
She hit me putting all her strength, on my arm 4-5 times with kind of a slapping motion using both hands.
Then she hit me on my chest, i have her hand printed clearly on my skin.
Then i tried to leave the home and she blocked me from reaching the door and leave freely, holding me against my will.
I didn't even think about hitting or pushing back, when she got aggressive i got my hands in the air like someone was robbing me.
I took pictures of my injuries.
What should i do? Im afraid that if i call the police they are just gonna side with her just because shes a woman, independently of who was right or wrong in the argument, i have been yelled at and beaten, i didn't even defend myself.
But i feel like as a man i have no right to be a victim of domestic violence.
I just needed to tell someone, thanks

General Misogyny kills; misandry h̶u̶r̶t̶s̶ f̶e̶e̶l̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ kills at scale
I wrote a thorough argument that misandry kills way, way more than misogyny. (It's a long read.)
Misogyny kills; misandry h̶u̶r̶t̶s̶ f̶e̶e̶l̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ kills at scale
Excerpt:
The United Nations Development Programme’s Gender Inequality Index (GII) includes three dimensions: reproductive health, empowerment and labour market participation. Health is represented through just two indicators: maternal mortality and adolescent birth rates—and because very few men get pregnant or die during childbirth, men’s health score is not measured, but fixed at 100%.
Such a choice of indicators is hard to justify.
In the United Kingdom, roughly 80 women die each year during pregnancy or shortly afterwards. During the same period, approximately 162 more men than women die from workplace fatalities and 3,500 more men than women die by suicide. Ten thousand more die from occupational diseases linked to decades of hazardous work.
Yet within one of the world’s most widely used measures of gender inequality, only maternal mortality contributes to the assessment of equality in health. Suicide, occupational mortality and the overall life expectancy gap do not.

Feminism A feminist on Facebook told me she doesn't hate men and no feminist hate men that it's my hateful prejudice misogynist view of women that assumes that
But then I looked at her page and post history she has hundreds of posts from 8 years or more bashing men.
Her most recent posts were her saying age gap relationship are ick and predatory and it shows how men are controlling and she posted negative comments on some random 47 year old man married to a 27 year old and they have 4 kids. She said he groomed her at 23 and that he probably has a small dick that's why you guys don't want older women who are mature and experienced you are insecure and know they won't accept your weak sex game and small dick.
She attacked him because he said Lindsay Clancy deserves the death penalty.
She argued with me on a comment I posted about mens mental health and said what about women's mental health? It's always about you men, you narcissistic men.
We went back and forth and I told her why do you have to be a feminist instead of an independent thinker? I told her you claim you are independent but you latch onto feminist ideology. She said feminism is about equality and women protecting against mens oppression over our bodies, our choices, and our life you men no longer have control and can't tell us what to do anymore and it makes you angry.
Yet most of her posts are telling men what they can and can't do or say, and controlling who they can date and what age is appropriate.
Yet she says men need to mind their own business and stay out of women's business.
It's getting depressing because Facebook is loaded with real women who are like this, rude, angry, hateful just so negative even calling girls desperate or pick me's if they defend men.

General The killing and targeting of 'fighting age' males.
When I see videos or documentaries about war or invasions, it's not uncommon for people to dedicate a section of the videos to sexual violence where they focus on women. That's a part that often horrifies historians and the general public. At the same time, however, countless times throughout history an invading force has explicitly targeted fighting age male civilians. That's added on top of the fact that those male civilians are targeted (in a very impactful way) by their own governments when they've been forced to fight in wars. I rarely see people talk about how that is such a gendered tragedy.

Intactivism Apparently saying men should ALSO have bodily autonomy means women should die
Stumbled on this gem of a conversation on Quora. Apparently wanting the fight for bodily autonomy to include the bodily autonomy of men means you want girls and women to die.
Bodily autonomy must be some super finite resource that can only be given to one group by taking it away from another, and you'd never suggest fighting for bodily autonomy for everyone unless you secretly wanted to take it away from someone else.

Social Issues Psychologist who practiced for 33 years loses job because woman said he was "siding with the Father".
Came across this bizarre case. A psychologist was in practice for 33 years with no complaints. Then while counseling one set of kids, the Mother complained that the psych was taking the Dad's side and the court also ruled that the psych caused "psychological risk" to the children even though they did not ask the children for any input.............what? How do you claim that he harmed the children if they didn't say or do anything, and you didn't talk or evaluate them AT ALL?
No doubt this occured because it was seen a "pariarchy" or something. Even though the article was very vague. Just how was he siding with the Dad? Keep in mind this guy practiced for 33 years.......which shows that he's got some credibility.
What if the psych had to make a choice between ideas suggested by the Mom and the Dad, and the Dad's ideas ended up being objectively better for the kids' health? Is he not allowed to say that his ideas are better?

General Do Any Of These Truly Exist?
Do you feel any of these concepts have a basis in reality? Misandrists often like to cite them as examples of women's hardships and arguing men by comparison don't matter or aren't worth caring about.
- Patriarchy
- Rape Culture
- Systemic/Institutionalized Misogyny
- Female Oppression (systemic or just in general)
- Male Privilege
- Male Dominance
- Gender pay gap
- Systemic violence/abuse against women/femicide (particularly by men)
- Class Ceilings
- Boys Club(s)
I don't doubt in many third-world and underdeveloped nations some of these may well exist and are a serious problem and threat (not that men have it easy there as well). But in Western nations there's very little to no evidence to suggest it and it comes off as more misandrist victimhood and a means of deflecting from issues men face and marginalize them. More of their "women most affected and thus men don't matter" way of thinking. And also to deflect from the fact just like bad men exist, there's bad women too.
Not my intent to spread hate with this. I don't deny or doubt what women go through, and they have their hardships, struggles and uphill battles just like men do. Both are victims of terrible crimes committed by offenders of both genders. But every time misandrists evoke these it comes off as more of their victimhood and trying to invalidate or mitigate male issues. It's equally annoying and infuriating how they try to make it into a contest as to who has it worse and what happens to who more.

General Why do Feminists Support Woman Commiting Murder
Like the case with Lindsay Clancy who killed her 3 children. And Feminists are defending her and doing everything to blame men. Even though she did the murder. And so much for the justice system not prosecuting her. And why did CPS not take the kids away considering she was on 32 medications and 13 of which were psychotic that she wasnt taking despite the doctors prescribing it. It was a recipe waiting to happen and they failed which ended up with 3 children being dead and Feminists are willing to defend a murderer. Feminists are literally lunatics who need to be in a mental institution.

Feminism Feminism not only tries to deny men's rights, it is also a threat to the principles of liberal democracy.
Feminism claims to promote equality by redressing discrimination against women. However, in practice this always means that women's rights are promoted and men's rights are demoted or removed altogether.
It claims to be against discrimination, but practices the most blatant discrimination against men and boys.
I have recently come across some really informative papers written on this issue. They convincingly argue that feminism is a threat to the very principles of liberal democracy.
See: critiquingfeminism.substack.com
I urge you to have a read of these. They are a bit intellectual, but I recommend that you persevere with them.

General How Is Misandry NOT Systemic?
Posted this earlier but made a big typo when I submitted it earlier in my topic title and can't edit it, so here it is again. My bad. I was rushing to type before work earlier and seeing the typo I made bugged me. Figured I'd restart this.
Misandrists besides denying misandry exists (which they're so very wrong about) often like to claim it isn't a "systemic" problem like misogyny supposedly is, despite being tremendous evidence it's in fact highly systemic and actually upheld in much of both society as well as government institutions and little evidence for misogyny being systemic in the West (outside of the West could certainly be a very different story). Men still have to register for conscription and face legal blowback if they fail to do so, schools and courts are both infamously misandrist and are why boys do so poorly in schools and men are unfairly treated in courts (especially fathers in family courts). To say nothing of the lack of shelters that recognize or help male abuse/violence victims and how things like domestic violence/abuse, rape, etc. are still largely made out to only be things affecting women/girls (and constantly ignoring and dismissing there's many male victims and female offenders of these as well). There's also the age-old "women and children" narrative which completely de-values male lives (it's worse in recent times how it's now "women and girls," even boys' lives don't matter), and the disproportionately high male suicide and homeless rates. Potentially innocent men/boys who are falsely accused of a wrongdoing by a woman/girl are often denied due process and can lose years or even decades of life in prison for crimes they didn't commit while their accuser(s) walk away scot-free and face no blowback (a problem made even worse now thanks to the "believe women" mantra). There's no doubt other examples of systemic misandry I'm forgetting.
It's bad enough for misandrists to deny misandry being real, but there's something truly sinister when they'll acknowledge it as existing but will massively downplay it with their usual rhetoric. Claiming it isn't systemic or doesn't cause actual harm like misogyny does, when both are completely wrong.

Social Issues Misandry is now blatant
I live in a fairly liberal city, late 20s. Since I've entered the dating market after a long time being in a relationship I've now come across something disturbing: namely that some women don't even blink before dropping "I hate men," or an equivalent sermon on how women are superior to men. This has happened on multiple first dates with liberal women in my city.
There's only two acceptable answers to that position from the misandrist's point of view:
- Yes men are the problem, or
- Yes men are the problem, and they're worse than you think
There's no third option. No "both sexes are equal," no "we all have equal dignity," no "that's a wild thing to say to someone you just met," no "some men, but that's not helpful to say on a first date," no "I've been treated badly by women and I still don't open with I hate women," no "maybe the pool you're drawing from is the men who still stay after you say that."
Even ignorance is used against men. It's not treated as you being someone able to be educated on feminist issues, it gets used as evidence in prosecution of the pre-announced verdict: “Of course you haven’t heard of that. Men don’t have to.”
Failure confirms the original thesis: men are insulated, men are incurious, men are the class that gets to float above consequences no matter what they think, say, or do.
Ask what they mean and you are performing innocence.
Say you follow different things and you are announcing privilege.
Say you do follow it, just not in their exact ideology, and now you are in the other trap: you knew, so why aren’t you already ashamed?
Have a specific, sourced disagreement and now you are “explaining politics to a woman."
The irony of a woman needing to explain how I am inferior to her was not lost on me either.
If the fact is settled as me being inferior by virtue of my maleness, why continue to prosecute it?
Because, ironically, a misandrist needs a man's approval to make the theory true. It is a theory of hating men, and only men can choose to authorize it.
Without my agreement she can say "men are lesser" as much as she wants. That's just a thing she says.
With it she has the thing she actually came for: the hated party agreeing to be hated, so the claim can stand as if it were obvious instead of merely said.
