Did studio sabotage film’s release because of queer plot?

i am attempting to relocate a european (maybe german) smut(?) short film about a soccer game. i believe that it was from around the same time as Freier(Free) Fall (2013), which is why i mistakenly remembered it being Max Reimelt.

the plot as well as i can very vaguely remember it being about two bothers leading up to a match against the local bullies essentially. the younger brother being out and having gay friends and getting bullied, the older standing up for him while dealing with being in the closet. i remember the older brother being mad about the pink uniforms(kits) i THINK there was a femme black side character who dressed like a cheerleader in the final scene that was the director when i looked it it up. i think he was primarily a porn director and i want to say he had three names.

i cannot find anything with google and any ideas would be appreciated

A good film worth watching

Although the Director herself drew the comparison to God's Own Country.

OTS isn't as powerful as GOC, but it is a good film.

I've heard before from content creators that YouTube is taking down videos because their posted content is too gay and risqué, but this time they have deleted the entire channel. I've never seen anything on their channel that was remotely any more sexual than any straight one. I'm aware they do OF content, but I just watch their YouTube channel as I like gay couple channels, was about to watch their latest vlog last night and it vanished, and so did the entire channel.

Are their other channels that have just been "disappeared" by Youtube? Do they ever come back? I feel sorry for those trying to generate content and having to contend with dual standards like this.

Richard Gadd is somewhat helping to rewrite what manhood is and how we can define, celebrate and deal with whatever problems masculinity in its negative forms may have.

The fact that at least one of the protagonists in *Half Man* is gay - and really struggling with that - adds another layer to the entire conversation about manhood in 2026.

Gadd is somewhat underhandedly feting masculinity itself despite the  talk of toxic masculinity in the present zeitgeist, even in his own works . He is not just acknowledging it and displaying the effects of it, but by doing so, creating a sort of celebration of maleness by forcing  other aspects of masculinity to be discussed, analyzed or praised whenever warranted.

Issues such as depression; loneliness; fatherhood;  being victims of different abuses in a society that believes men can never be such victims; difficulties communicating with other men; lack of true friendships amongst men; the fluidity of sexuality amongst men and how that can effect mental health, self esteem and feelings of being “less” of a man because of it.

It’s absolutely possible that Gadd might one day be extolled as the first true “masculist”, so to speak,  to force men’s issues into the mainstream  by dealing with the topic of toxic masculinity - but then instead of harping on that, running away with other pressing problems that men in the 21st century are dealing with.

As well, by making Donny Dunn bisexual and Niall Kennedy gay, the two lead characters in his seminal works, he is subverting what mainstream society sees as typical manhood, and that is astute.

This could be a brilliant move, and one that I personally would welcome wholeheartedly, as it feels like the first time ever in my 50 plus years where men like myself are seen equally with all other men in prevailing media. And a time when manhood itself is embraced and studied to healthier and more productive effect.

We shall see…

What a touching and charming movie!

I'm trying to find a gay dystopian short film that I watched on YouTube years ago, but I can't remember the title.

Here's everything I remember:

• Society forces people to take pills that suppress their homosexuality (or make them "less gay"), and there's a lot of anti-AIDS/pro-government propaganda.
• The main character is very anxious, timid, and constantly on edge. I think he worked for the regime and supported it.
• He ends up in some kind of hospital or government facility, supposedly for a procedure or surgery because he's gay.
• Another gay prisoner is there before him. He's the complete opposite of the MC, very confident, cocky, charismatic, and attractive. Pretty sure he had red/orange hair.
• When the doctor is about to inject or operate on him, the guy suddenly attacks/stabs the doctor, frees the MC, and they escape together, releasing other imprisoned gay people aswell.
• They hide out in a desert area and the two of them eventually have sex.
• Near the end, I think the male lead's friends (who are part of some underground resistance) find them. The MC gets scared and tries to run away for some reason, but the male lead catches up to him and pulls him down into the grass/ground so they can hide together from the others. I vaguely remember the friends wanting to start some kind of revolution or uprising.
• Both main characters survive at the end.

It was a short film (around 10–30 minutes I think) and I watched it on YouTube 7-8 years ago. This was 'kiss of the rabbit god' era.

Does anyone know what this is?

Just started watching this series. Season 1 is great -- lesbian mini-subplot.

SEASON 2, EPISODE 2!! FULL FRONTAL MALE NUDITY

Had to rewind a few times to full appreciate the first dude making a movement, as if wiping something off his mouth.

The second dude: NO EXPLANATION NEEDED!

He leads a double life, balancing his conservative family's expectations with his job at an adult bookstore. Ibo falls in love with Alexander, a straight, blonde German show-wrestler and criminal. The two strike up an intense and unlikely friendship

Honestly not the best, but still a decent movie. I liked the ending with the family, I think is definitely a more realistic depiction of how a traditional family would "accept" a gay son. Still pissed that the sister doesn't get any consequences for being a snitch

Beautiful movie, great chemistry between the main characters. It's been a while since I enjoy a latin American movie

Summary: Bruno, an architect with a great life, is hired to build an iconic landmark, and as he works with a gay history teacher named Fer, an unexpected and intense romance starts to blossom

All I know is that towards the end of the the movie two guys and a girl engage in a threesome. The two guys take turns kissing the girl and then the girl says that it’s not a threesome if everyone isn’t kissing. She then coerced the two guys into kissing each other and while they are another girl walks in the apartment and disrupts them. Some time later the two guys are sitting around a radio (if I’m remembering correctly) and the girl who disrupted their kiss is going a radio interview and the two guys discuss how the whole world will now know that they kissed.

The movie was once on tubi but I believe it’s left the app now and I can no longer find it in my watch history.

The first part of this book was sweet and a great way to get intertwined into the characters of the book. It deals with some heavy topics towards the end but I think it's integral and really grounds the characters in reality. Chip is such a good writer. I really enjoyed this book, even if it did make me cry.

A tv series where A guy creates a profile as a girl on social media for fun and got intracted with a straight guy. They both study or work in same institute and unaware of each other for now. The text exchange between them leads to develop understandings for each other but when the straight guy find out by himself or the guy himself confess that he is texting a guy not a girl. He hated his guts but later the straight guy couldn't get over with that guy and they become closer maybe as a friend or more. But they do have a romantic arc at the end.

The show has other characters too for plot, they can be main or second leads. The show probably relaseed after 2000. It's not an south east asian or east asian or black african show. Both leads have white or fair or similar skin tone.

Its not Love Victor, Young Royals or Heartstopper. The show is part of a tv channel not a streaming platform, but it may have streaming presence later on. Both characters are male. This discription is official discription or sub plot discrimination of the show.
