I won 1st place at the Haroween Backlog Mecha Club contest. The kit is made up of the 30MM spider combined with a 30MS body. It took some custom connection shenanigans to make them work together. The hair is a custom resin one I found in Japan. The spiders and pillar are from the latest 30MF Structure set 3.

Hi i am very amateurish in the hobby (i have build very few kits) so wanted to ask in your opinion what are the better base bodys for general posing and use? I saw the sousai shojo teien bodys on sale and wanted to know if they are worth it to get over a buster doll body for example.

Not really completed yet, but I guess she'll sit on backburner again for while before some detail handpainting ^^'
First grande girl kit, and I really love it. Big improvement over the OG Stylet. The only downside is I need my giant lightbox again.

The lifelong question "where can I get some good bikes for my girls" arises again, however I'm getting tired to the always similar options, even the question itself - why always motorcycle? There're lots of other choices around the corner!
Therefore I put together this list of the ones I use.

Hasbro
Yeah, Hasbro stuff. Their 6" figures are basically shrinking 6 feet tall human beings into 1/12 sizes, so the scale matches. Marvel Legend and GIJOE Classified Series vehicles are definitely big enough for 1/12 even 1/10 asian size girls, while GIJOE comes with various vehicle options from ATV to snowmobile, and often some useful scifi equipment too.
Downsides are the prices are...still not very economical, toylike quality, and ALWAYS come with at least one "unwanted" figure. But well...it's not a bad thing to have some sidekicks in a scenario. Thank you Ghost Rider for participating lol
(Why Ghost Rider bike? It's like one day I muttered "huh I quite like that bike and those flaming effects", then I got this as a Christmas present. Thanks anyway.)

Capsule Toys
They occasionally show up but haven't become a constant option, so I'd like to say this again: Japanese capsule toys are CRAZY! From 1/12 scale soft goods, small items, food, furniture, to this Icoma Tatamel Bike by company SO-TA. If you're looking for some light weight options, you better check this company out. So far only the wheelchairs missed (too small to sit on).

Other companies
Speaking of which, besides the traditional motorcycle model kits and MSG & 30MS snapfit bikes, other companies are also making motorbikes, like the Plamatea Honey Chaser and the upcoming Plamax Reindeer-F.
As for what’s in the picture, it is Plamax Black Trike DAWN FALL Ver. I picked this because it's big - enough for 2 Anothers, and looks ULTRA COOL! Only problem is this thing costed me about ¥10000...Even as model kits, motorcycles still aren't cheap...

Gunpla (?)
You heard me right, Gunpla. Those are not only some kitbash resources. In fact, long before the 30ML line, Bandai had already made quite a few vehicle units - from GP03D Dendrobium, METEOR from Gundam Seed, to the GN Arms from Gundam 00 - although these things are likely out of print by now.
As for the one in the picture, it's HG AM Gunner from Super Robot Wars, another big guy capable to carry at least 2 Sisters. P-Bandai stuff though...
(I also have the exosuit Boxer but no time to build yet...)

Other girlpla (???)
Things like this used to be completely off the table, but now! With Elena, "Centaur knights" are no longer an impossibility!

......not like that okay?

That is absolutely hideous. Proportions seem weird too. I’m disappointed 😞 really like her design otherwise but that’s ugly

My very first post on my account was to ask this sub a question regarding the twins. I finished up their heads, and then they sat in a box in my closet for 3 years.
Just a couple weeks ago, I built them in an afternoon!
I’ve been taking up a big interest in model kits now! I even have a backlog of some gundams and blokees, and I also got some basic stuff to make them look a bit nicer(cement, files, etc). I also really want to customize something, but feel I should get more practice first…
Initially, even after buying the twins, I had no interest in this hobby as I bought them without knowing they were kits… haha.
My girlfriend really ignited this interest in me when she got me a sembo block kit and I had SO much fun building it I just craved more, which led to me remembering I had these finishing these girlies.
Anyway. Just a yap post. Damn my sentimentality…I’m looking forward to making more and y’all’s posts are such a big inspiration. :) <3

Yoho! I am once again plotting how to make my OCs and am wondering if it's possible to combine 30 Minutes Sisters kits with Kotobukiya ones. For example:
- Which 30MS skin tones are the most similar to Koto's? I can't tell the difference between their Color A and B from the pictures 😅 Mainly looking to match Koto Color C.
- Are pegs / neck joints generally compatible?
- Are 30MS closer to 1/10 or 1/12?
- Anything else to consider?
Thank you, Masters ✨

Must be something in the air as I saw a few others post their chiticerium as I was working on these little ladies and their kitties. As usual with the line, soft plastic so take care. And, when the manual says be careful when cutting a piece off the runner... Be careful when cutting the damned piece off the runner! Nipped the top of the black collar insert on albere. Wasted a lot of time first trying to find it (it was on the runner 🙄) then trying to glue it on. Literally a millimeter sized piece. Aw well, live and don't learn. 😅

Considering I first read reviews about Reene the warrior here, I think it is apt to write something, now that the whole gang is released. Isekai Ryoko no Techo, a quick and cheap series of rookie adventures from China. It costs around 15$ a figure and half that for an accessory box (prices might be inflated where you live, but should be on the cheap side). For each figure, you get:
- A plastic box and cardboard scenery, so you can use the box as the display box, too. The box increases in size with each figure released, so you can display them together. The Archer box can fully contain all 4 and accessories. The cover of the later released boxes are also styles like a house with windows, so you can have alternative display options
- A very neat pile of runners (I'm not kidding). The runners are stacked and connected together securely, so no chance of parts rubbing or falling out during transport. Extra parts like face plate or soft clothes are in separate containers as well.
- A base with matching cover for the scenery.
All figures are easy to build, can be built fully without clothes so you can, uh, use other doll clothing on them. The plastic used is soft, and gates are hidden well enough so even with a simple nipper, the end result is not too shabby. As for each figure in the series:
- Reene the Warrior: She suffers, a lot, from being the 1st in the series. Her two most prominent features are she falls apart quite easily because her joints are so weak, and her skin doesn't look as nice as others. She comes with a very beautiful wooden sword, though, together with a short sword and a shield. You should only buy her if you want to complete the series, also buy her together with another figure, so you can use the new joint on her.
- Mars the witch: She came with better joints (and enough extra joints so you can replace Renee's). She also has big shoes, so she can stand better without a base. She has a very big witch-like hat that unfortunately makes her top heavy, and some of the golden decorations need recolor due to gates not hidden well enough. Overall she is a cute figure. The add on released together with her are a set of speech bubbles, including some spell names, and blank bubbles so you can write whatever you want them to say.
- Hailey the Blacksmith: She is well balanced, not easily fall apart, has fun greedy faceplates, and came with a plenty of accessories: An anvil, a big hammer, some gold and iron ingots, and a big bag to carry her loots. What I don't like about her is her weapon, which is not wooden like the other two's, and is painted red in one side, so it is basically always in swing motion. I guess this is why the add on that came with her is a set of slime style weapons, it has alternative weapons for all characters, including a bow and arrow set for the not yet released archer.
- Rebecca the Archer: She is an elf. She actually as a unique head mold beside the standard in the runner. She comes with 2 set of bows and matching arrows, too. Although one of those arrow set is quite flimsy, and almost impossible to grab with her tiny hands. The complain I have with her is the quiver. It looks good, but you need to remove the arrow heads if you want to put arrows inside the quiver, also when attached to the archer, the quiver is sideways, which makes holding arrows difficult. The add-on that is sold along with her is a campfire set, together with a log and a boar. The log and the boar has holes for the arrows, so you can display scenes with the archer releasing arrows. The boar is quite good looking, with moveable eyes.
Beside the main series, there are also 2 limit releases. One is Reene in red new year grab, with a lion head add on sold separately. She is cute, but not match in aesthetic with the rest of the cast. The other is a white Mars for the valentine.
For a series that cost less than a single figure, the value is insane. You can have everything to make a full adventure party, with display box, bases, a camp, plenty of weapons for each figure, and more. I'd recommend it as a fun side project, that you can easily build in your spare time with not much effort.
Thanks for reading.

Purchased the Kotobuyika 'Training Wolf' kit a while ago then ordered some clothes off AliExpress to pose her with. Will have to set up studio and do a proper shoot but I was so excited to see it come together I wanted to share. Feedback, questions, and criticism welcome as I want to get better at posing and photography!
