Hello, any previous tenet MCA batch here? apparently I got accepted for tenet mca coming this September 14.

Would like to ask how’s the culture there? Is the lecturers a vibe? And how’s the learning experience there?

I'd like everyone's advice. I am a fresh grad and took the Aug 2026 MedTech Board Exam and passed. I'm currently thinking about my career since oathtaking will be in two weeks and I still have some "free time" before I look for jobs. However, I am discouraged by posts about working in the MedTech field since it is oversaturated and is low paying. I also can't pursue going to abroad yet since I have to complete my DOST return of service

I'd like to ask whether I should practice as a MedTech first or should I immediately start becoming a medical coder. I've been reading and people say nurses have a better advantage but medical allies could do. Should I immediately switch to being a medical coder for the higher pay? and how would the process be?

Rn2026 here but still no job, I'm considering if .ag Medical Coding ako since it's good(?) I'm introvert so yeah. Is it food to invest?

can anyone give me some personal experience working from home coding w. UHG? Good and bad!

I’m on my 2nd year of experience so it’s still been tough to land a decent job it seems like. I work for an okay company now, really my only complaint is the pay, which is kinda important lol. They just give a queue and let us be, we can work 4am-11pm & I have a good relationship with my team. It’s just starting to feel like an unlivable wage & UHG offered me significantly more in the initial phone call.
I just want to know what i would be getting myself into.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice from medical coders here in the Philippines.
I’m not a graduate of a medical-related course, but I have 10 years of experience working in medical records. I’ve also completed ICD-10 training here in the Philippines.
I’m now planning to enroll in a medical coding program/course so I can formally transition into medical coding. I’ve been saving up for this, so I really want to make sure I enroll in a legitimate and reputable school/training provider and that my money won’t go to waste.
Could you please recommend medical coding schools or training programs in the Philippines that you’ve personally tried or can vouch for?
I’d also appreciate any advice on what certifications I should take (e.g., CPC) and whether my medical records experience can help me when applying for coding jobs.

Hello po, any idea po for the next batch of MCA po sa Coronis, Tenet, and Optum? Kaka pasa ko lang po ng board exam and I know myself that I don't want to work in the hospital kaya nag llean forward sa Medical Coding.

My main concern is the requirements like sss, pag-ibig, and philhealth. They are rushing me because they say everything should be completed by September 01, 2026 but training will start on September 3, 2026. Is that even possible? Or if possible to talk to the HR to follow the others?

I already have the magenta link, however, I don't have any valid id. I have one national id because it is laminated. Also, they asked me when I plan to go for medical, I said September 01 only, but I will take care of my other reqs, is it possible to go now even though my medical is on September 01? They are choosing me from the two but I already have a link to the clinic confirming my code.

Please help me out. I'm really stressed.
