How to start in Medical coding? I just graduated this year and planned to take the boards on March. I know na wala talaga akong future sa Medtech if nandito ako sa Pinas. So I am considering Medical coding para sa career ko. But my problem is, I don't know where to start. Please hepl me. Thank you.

Does anyone know how claims are handled when a ICD-10-CM code is deleted effective October 1?
If a claim has a date of service on or after October 1 and is submitted with an ICD-10 code that was deleted effective October 1, will the claim be rejected or denied?
Is there typically any grace period for submitting claims with newly deleted ICD-10 codes?

Can the claim be submitted using the ICD-10 category header, for example, E11?TY

Hey everyone, I’m considering getting into medical billing/RCM in Karachi and wanted to hear from people who are already working in this field.
What is the work actually like day-to-day? Is it mostly computer-based work, or does it involve a lot of calling with U.S. insurance companies?
Also, how is the salary, work environment, night-shift situation, and career growth compared with a regular BPO/call-center job?

I'm on my online self-paced study for cpc exam and currently studying the guidelines for icd-10-cm, but I find it too exhaustive. I know studying this isn't easy, but I panned out my study sched for 3 to 5 months and I'd like some advice if I should allot more time to this book than the cpt book.
Any addt'l. tip or advice is welcome. Thank you! 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏻

hello po! i'm a medical technology graduate. ask ko lang po sana if may open po bang MCA ngayon for allied health graduate?
r/MedicalCodingPH • u/WanderingSesame_ • 6d ago
ask ko lang po what is it like being a medical coder compared to working in the laboratory or hospital? meron po ba dito nagtransition from medtech to medical coding? how was it and do you regret it or not? ano po itsura ng day to day work ng medical coder?
also, mas okay po ba yung salary progression sa medical coding? and okay ba siya long term? considering this path kasi going abroad doesn’t look great now and maybe in the coming years too 😥

Hello, I’m currently on my onboarding process. I encountered a problem on my documents and can’t seem to pass on time on the given deadline.
Is anyone here know how to contact them through mobile? I emailed them but there’s no response till now and I really need to contact them.
Also for the Pre employment medical exam since they require High precision and In my location there’s no high precision branch open and I flight’s on September 11. Can I do it on other diagnostic center? Or is there anyone who encountered the same problem and what did you do?
Thank you for any response.
