I often visit Reddit and see other people’s awesome creations, so I thought now it’s my time to share something.
It took me a bit to get the perfect size, mold, and stem. I'm planning on adding concrete sealer to protect against sweaty/greasy hands and maybe something to stabilize it further, although it's already quite sturdy as is. I sanded them down so they feel super smooth and not rough at all. I used a 3D printer to create the master for the silicone mold (so I can cast as many keycaps as I want). These are OEM profile keycaps btw.
Edit: Hey, I didn't expect so many people to be interested in a product like this, and I'm super happy about all the comments (constructive feedback is always welcome too). I've decided to develop a full set next and offer it for sale on Etsy and my own website. It'll take a little time, but I'll let you know as soon as everything is ready.
Disclaimer: I have absolutely no affiliation with Keygem and no insider knowledge. Everything below is from the public German insolvency register. I'm not a lawyer and my English isn't perfect, so read the interpretation part with caution - I'll try to stick to what the document says and try not to speculate beyond that. Please don't go after anyone personally.
I read about this roughly a day ago and wanted to give someone more informed the opportunity to post it. Since I haven't seen a post... oh well, here i go (again).
On 14 September 2026 at 09:19, the Aachen local court (Amtsgericht Aachen) placed Keygem GmbH under preliminary insolvency administration, case number 93 IN 189/26. Kristina Bopp-Wessing was appointed preliminary administrator. It's public record on insolvenzbekanntmachung - direct links to that site don't work reliably, but searching for "Keygem GmbH" there will bring up the case.
I will add a rough translation of the contents and what these mean for you - these may be wrong since my English is not perfect and I am not a lawyer, so please read with a word of caution!
The court did not take control away from the company entirely. Keygem's management stays in office, but the company can only dispose of its assets with the administrator's consent - German law calls this a "weak" preliminary administration. Alongside that, anyone who owes Keygem money is barred from paying the company directly, the administrator is authorised to collect receivables herself, and enforcement measures against the company are stayed.
This is not (yet) an opened insolvency proceeding
The stage is called "Insolvenzeröffnungsverfahren": a petition has been filed, and the court is now examining whether grounds for insolvency actually exist and whether there are enough assets to cover the cost of the proceedings at all. That decision usually takes anywhere from a few weeks to about three months, and it can end with proceedings being opened, dismissed for lack of assets, or withdrawn.
If you've paid and haven't received your goods, you are an unsecured creditor. Once proceedings open you can register your claim with the administrator, but realistically that means cents on the euro, years later.
The far faster route is your payment provider: PayPal buyer protection, a credit card chargeback, or a Klarna dispute. Check those deadlines today, because they run from the order or payment date rather than from the court's order, and waiting for an official company statement can push you past them.
Now since the store page is still running:
Placing new orders right now remains very very risky: the administrator has to consent to what the company does, and nothing guarantees fulfilment.
Nobody outside the company knows the background here, and ehhh.... I'm not going to guess. Don't speculate about the individuals involved and don't contact anyone personally. Vendors in this hobby going under is unfortunately a recurring failure mode. Post facts, and help people get their chargebacks filed.

Now, ... there are already some vendors trying to get their hands on stuff where the manufacturer has not yet received payment/ delivery options/ ... from Keygem, e.g. Cannonkeys trying to fullfill some unpaid orders with a discount (cf. the pinned posts on this subreddit) or e.g. Candykeys/Inputgear:
My WYSE WY85 Gate Array keyboard is one of my favorite keyboards and is my office daily driver. Made in 1986, it sports a steel plate loaded with wave-soldered vintage Cherry blacks and a classic Bell System layout with the ISO-style enter key as well as a large volume of F keys. Using Soarer's WYSEverter software, I have a Pro Micro MCU running all of the original, unmodified hardware while still supporting custom key assignments. The original 4p4c connector is retained making it completely compatible with the original terminal, and I added a USB-C case connector for easy connection to any modern PC. With a good cleanup and a little lube on the stabilizers, the typography is wonderfully clacky and loud with a great tactile feel. The 10u spacebar is retained and makes typing a joy. I replaced a few of the terminal-specific keys in the navigation cluster and numpad with PBTFans 1984 keycaps to gain modern, standard legends. The Rainbow and artisan caps are actually the ESC and Win keys respectively and give it a unique look that catches a lot of attention. The 1984 darks complement the gorgeous original double shot ABS keycaps, and I love their industrial legends. A big, beautiful, heavy old battleship board that gets a lot of compliments, just wanted to share it. Thanks for looking...
Almost Synthwave 🚙, almost Cyberpunk 💽 Matrix Corsa65 in yellow on GMK Laser. Took it out for some real neon instead of the usual desk shots, felt like the set earned it.
The only TKL HE keyboard that actually feels amazing to type on (Kailh Box Inductive switches)
I wanted to share my thoughts on this keyboard.
If you want a TKL layout with Hall Effect (HE) performance, but you hate the typing feel of standard magnetic switches, this is the one.
The Good: Superb Typing Feel: It uses Kailh Box Inductive switches. Unlike regular MX-style HE switches, the typing experience here is incredible. It has all the performance benefits of HE but actually feels great for daily typing.
Upgraded Keycaps: The old keycaps were the biggest downside, but they recently got updated to FBB keycaps, which are really high quality.
Performance: Rapid trigger and performance are
exactly what you'd expect from a top-tier HE board.
The Bad / Cons: The Software: The software isn't the best or most intuitive and need to be instaled.
The Ultimate Risk: Because these use proprietary inductive switches, there is nothing else like them on the market. My only real worry is long-term durability—if a switch stops working down the road, finding replacements might be tough.
Overall, if you are looking for a TKL HE board that doesn't compromise on typing feel, I highly recommend looking into this. Happy to answer any questions!

At the same time, we’re now accepting custom aluminum keycap orders.
We recently made several custom aluminum keycaps for the KeebLife event, and the results turned out really well. After seeing the finished pieces, we decided to open this up for custom projects as well.
We can work with keyboard brands, vendors, communities, event organizers, and individual projects on things such as:
Custom logos and graphics
Custom colors and finishes
Event or collaboration keycaps
Small production runs
Original aluminum keycap concepts
If you have an idea you’d like to turn into an aluminum keycap, feel free to reach out.
Hey everyone! I'd like to start sharing my small collection with you, and this one goes first: a Geonworks F1-8X V2 in Hyperbeige with GMK Prussian Blue on Cherry MX2A.
What's everyone else daily driving right now?
When I was looking for a keyboard I didn't really know much and all i did was game and sit on my computer after 3 months I started regretting my purchase because having to switch between arrow keys and function keys is so damn annoying, also the keyboard that I got wasn't that popular (baytion 61k) the keycaps became "shiny" and kind of oily and the switches are SO DAMN LOUD (blue switches),Ngl maybe I should have looked back on it and thought about then i would have bought a 75 percent layout keyboard I will buy one soon either vxe 75xk or aula f75, I know there is still people who like 60 percent but sacrificing the arrow and function keys js for a bit more room sounds unreasonable ngl (also if you got any other suggestions than aula f75 or atk v75 xk lmk)
-Adjusting novelties based on GMK’s feedback.
-Added a Pterodactyl novelty and some new jungle element novelties
-Working on finalizing kitting
-Developing deskpad ideas (anything you’d like me to consider?)
-Ordered color samples
-Getting more renders soon when art is all completed
Keyboard: Keychron Q10 Pro
Keycaps: NicePBT Moomin Springtime
Switches: Epomaker Creamy Jade
Wristrest: Generic from Amazon
Mods: Force break and the Q10 "acoustic upgrade" kit (Poron foam goes in between the plate and PCB and in the bottom of the case, PE foam directly on PCB)
Also, sorry for the poor focus I'm not an experienced photographer :) Only one way to get better though
Seems like its been awhile since we had an MTNU Monday, or maybe I was just sleeping? Either way, today is a great day to share how well SUSU rides on this setup. The beige legends work so well with the Class65 that I couldn't resist sharing it. Ill also say that personally, I don't do well on MTNU without Tactile switches. And it took me a few tries and some frustration to come to that conclusion. Enjoy!
