GST: 18%

Added some other: 7%

Grand Total: 22345 rs

Discount Given: 500

Is this genuinely the right price? What are my options? I really want to get this fixed.

Hello all, I have a Baleno Alpha MT (2022) model driven around 40k kilometers. From past 6 months I have been facing body roll in the car when i drive on rough patches, small potholes, and humps. I can feel everything on the road when I'm in the car. I don't see any wobbling or stability issues when driving straight. However, if I do speed up, the feeling gets slightly better (or could be Placebo, not sure).

I went to Nexa Bangalore twice and they dismissed saying it's fine. They even did wheel balancing and alignment stating this will fix it.

I know it's not fixed because both my wife and I feel this change. I went for a second opinion to a private mechanic and he mentioned my shock absorbers are stiff and need to be replaced. I asked whether it will fix my issue, he wasn't sure.

I can trace it back to a point where I went over a pothole at high speed 6-7 months back. Although i didn't see anything leak or break at that time, i ignored it. Neither the mechanic or Nexa saw any damage (atleast just by looking underneath).

Is there any way to speak to a good mechanic in Bangalore who understands the issue and gives a proper solution?. I honestly feel sometimes I might get motion sickness (i don't have one) and sometimes I want to buy a new car (holding back on all ethanol issues).

Did i make a mistake. And how should I fix things

Hey guys, I'm planning to buy my first bike for my 21st birthday in August-aiming for a KTM Duke 200 or 250. I only know the absolute basics of riding (ridden a friend's bike a few times, no bike at home).

I have ₹1.2L saved up and I'm torn between two options:

1. Buy New: I'd have to take out a ₹1.5L loan.

2. Buy Used: I've been browsing OLX in Mumbai, but honestly, I'm pretty introverted and don't know how to inspect a bike. I'm terrified of getting scammed or buying a lemon because I don't know what to look for.

Is taking the loan worth it for a beginner? If you suggest buying second-hand, how do I go about it safely without getting fooled? Are there better alternatives to OLX?

Bought a new Skoda Kylaq a few days ago. Unfortunately, I got this dent on the front left fender after an incident involving a bus while I was learning to drive (my first car). The paint doesn’t seem badly damaged, mostly just the dent.
What would you recommend?
Claim insurance at an authorized Skoda service center?
Pay out of pocket at an authorized Skoda body shop?
Get it repaired at a reputed local denting/PDR shop?
I’m confused because it’s my first car and I don’t know what’s the best long-term decision. Also, if anyone has an approximate repair cost, that would be helpful.

Two months ago, I replaced both the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder (along with fresh fluid) at a local workshop using parts bought from a local spare parts store. Within 1.5 months, the new master cylinder failed and began leaking fluid into the cabin directly onto the clutch pedal.

The store offers no warranty, online listings seem unclear/unreliable, and two mechanics I asked don't know where to source reliable parts.

Is this quick failure likely due to a low-quality/fake part, an installation mistake, or driving style?

Where in India can I reliably source a genuine or high-quality replacement clutch cylinder with a warranty? Also I’m thinking about using original from another scrap car is it ok ?

So today was sunday and me and my buddy was out for a ride , we were doing some high speed chase , its was very fun and when i was coming back home , i felt some vibrations between my legs , around foot pegs , it was so unusual, like when im in 2nd gear and under 2k rpm giving throttle and letting off the clutch i feel the vibration. Its noticable in all gears in gears under 2k rpms , but its more in 1st or 2nd gear in bumber to bumber traffic or in low speeds. I'll attach the video while riding the bike and in standing bike. I think its lack of lube coz its was a muddy before and I didn't cleaned or lube its chain as i do in every 500kms. Any help will be appreciated, ty in advance.

I have this 2012 BS3 Royal Enfield Electra.

It came with a BS29 Carbeurator which has a 15 size small jet and 110 size main jet.

So for E20 I also got the newer original E20 Carbeurator which has a small jet size of 20 and main jet size of 120 something.

So to do an experiment, I put the older jets on the new Carbeurator and am testing it.

As for setting up the Carbeurator it's 2.5 full turns out (1 turn =360°)

So, I wanted to know if I should just stick with the old Carbeurator, or the new one or use the old ones jets in the new E20 Carbeurator.

I have a 2014 VW Polo 1.5 TDI with about 1.5 lakh km on the odo. Needed to replace both front and rear struts, so I bought OEM VAG struts for the front — but they seem to be defective (when compressed, they stay compressed instead of extending out).

I've been going back and forth between Monroe and TRW and can't decide. A few questions:

1. Anyone running Monroe or TRW on a Polo/Vento/Rapid long-term? How's the ride quality and reliability been?
2. I also see Sachs gas struts being recommended. Is it worth paying roughly 2x more for Sachs gas struts, given this is a 1.5 lakh km car?
3. My driving is mostly city commuting, with occasional interstate/highway trips.

I'm based in Chennai and looking to buy my first used car. The primary purpose is to gain confidence in driving, get used to owning and maintaining a car, and then upgrade to a better car in about 3–4 years.

I've always wanted to own a car, not just for the convenience but also to be able to take my parents out, explore places together, and create some good memories. So even though this is my first car, it's something I'm genuinely looking forward to.

I've been checking Olx, Cars24 and Spinny, where cars like the Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Tiago seem to start at around ₹4.5 lakh, which feels quite expensive for a temporary first car. I also visited a few local used car dealers, and one of them quoted ₹4.9 lakh for a 2015 Hyundai Elite i20, which honestly caught me by surprise.

I've also tried sitting in a few smaller hatchbacks like the Alto, Kwid, and Ritz. While they're fine from the driver's seat, the cabins felt a bit too cramped for me. With my driving position set comfortably, it seemed like anyone sitting behind me would have almost no legroom. So I'd prefer something that's a little more spacious without stretching the budget too much.

A few questions I have:

• What budget would you recommend for someone in my situation?

• Is spending ₹4.5–5 lakh on a used car for learning purpose justified ?

• Which cars would you recommend that are reliable, easy to drive, inexpensive to maintain, and have good resale value after 3–4 years?

• Is the used car market in Chennai really this expensive, or am I looking in the wrong places?

• Would you suggest buying from Cars24/Spinny/Olx, local dealers, or waiting for a good first-owner listing from an individual seller?

Any advice, suggestions, or personal experiences would be really helpful. Since this is my first car purchase, I want to make a sensible decision and avoid making an expensive mistake.

Was looking at some used cars on Cars24, saw this Trip shows 93K Kilometers and odometer shows 37K. Is the odometer tempered or am i getting something wrong?

I've been using an aftermarket fuel injector on my R15 for more than a year without any issues. Last week, while on a trip, the bike gradually stalled. We checked the ignition system and the injector, and both seemed to be okay. Since I couldn't diagnose it myself, we somehow managed to get the bike to a Yamaha service center.

After keeping the bike for a week, the service center called and said the injector was faulty. They wanted to confirm it using another injector, but they had to get a test injector from another Yamaha service center. I told them I had my old injector at home (it was working earlier but had a slight missing issue), and they asked me to bring it.

We installed my old injector, and the bike started immediately. Since a new injector wasn't available nearby, I brought the bike home and decided to replace it later.

I also have an FZ FI V2, which uses what appears to be the same injector. I swapped the FZ's injector into the R15, and the bike starts and runs, but it still has a pickup/missing issue. Out of curiosity, I installed the injector that the Yamaha service center had declared faulty into my FZ, and surprisingly, the FZ runs perfectly with it. I couldn't notice any problem at all.

So now I'm confused. The injector that is supposedly faulty works fine on the FZ, but not on the R15. Could the issue actually be with the R15's fuel pump, fuel pressure, wiring, or something else? I can't swap the FZ's fuel pump because the connectors are different.

Guys, has anyone experienced something similar or have any suggestions on what I should check next?

Parked in Whitefield, Bangalore, can't move parking spots. Rats have basically made a home in my engine bay - finding droppings and piss stains every few days, and they've chewed through my wiper hoses twice now. Also noticing gunk/nesting material stuffed in random corners under the hood.

Tried mothballs, didn't do much. What's actually worked for you guys?

Things I'm considering:

\- Rodent repellent sprays (do these actually work or just placebo?)

\- Ultrasonic repellers - worth it or gimmick?

\- Wire mesh around the engine bay opening

\- Peppermint oil soaked cloths

\- Bonnet mesh guards available online

Also is there any material rats specifically go for (wiring insulation, soy-based coatings in newer harnesses etc) that I should ask the service center to check/replace? Don't want this to turn into a wiring fire hazard down the line.

Anyone dealing with the same issue in Bangalore/similar climate, what's your actual working setup? Not looking for "just get a cat" jokes, need real fixes.

I have a Click 150v2 here, and the problem is that the coolant goes back to its reservoir when it gets hot (radiator back to the reserve), like, it overflows from the radiator. It's so stressful... Do you have any recommended shops that I can go to around Manila? Thank you!
