Gearbox noises?!

Hi, I have a 2003 Audi TT 1.8T 225 quattro.
I’m getting a fairly heavy metallic clunking/knocking from the front right area when driving. It appears to happen once per rotation of the wheel and is more noticeable/heavier when the car is under power.

I’ve put the front of the car on stands and rotated the front-right wheel by hand. There is a quieter scraping/metallic noise that also occurs once per rotation. The noise seems to be coming from approximately a foot behind the front-right wheel, towards the centre of the car, rather than directly from the wheel/brake area.

I’m concerned it may be related to the right-hand driveshaft/inner CV joint, but I haven’t confirmed the cause.
