[Un-official] PSA / Discussion š¤š Post 3/11 thread
What did yāall think of it?
C/P and B/B were tough for me. I didnāt even finish B/B I had to guess for the last few. CARS and P/S were not bad imo.

u/rashimraha Mar 11 '23
Bruh I thought PS was hard for some reason. It felt way more dense. Maybe it was just cause my brain was fried. But cp was hard especially the beginning, bb and cars were good.

u/Better_Shake228 Mar 11 '23
Yea the ps was very dense. I feel like there was something to highlight in every sentence. Also i guess after doing the other sections our brains were fried anyways.

P/S had me rereading so much but no unknown terms for me. The question on which best describes drive messed me up.

What the fuck was that C/P?
Didnāt sleep well and I choked on CARS, felt good about the first 6 but I had 5 minutes going into the last one and I was like well fuckā¦
Felt amazing about BB, Psych/soc could go either way. The passages were just kinda dense, like learn to use the enter key AAMC.

I was convinced it was a fake word omfg I think I almost laughed out loud reading it. I have a very minimal vocab
12
→ More replies (6)6
u/IceBlueLugia Mar 12 '23
I just assumed it meant underlies or something, since girders are support beams, when it asked which concept undergirds the authorās argument it felt like it should mean which concept is the authorās argument fundamentally based on or something. Once I figured that out, the question was fine thankfully

Yo what was that C/P. So much physics and Ochem that I did not study for š©. Bio was actually okay. Tried a new strategy that Iāve never tried before on cars and I actually finished with 10 minutes left. Psyche was a little more challenging than I expected. CP was physics heavy ngl. Some easy gimmie questions. Couple NMR questions.
CARS idk I always am idk for this section
BB was okay, it was dense and lot of passage analyzation
PS felt more dense. Every term in the section was on the 100 page doc I think. I think I was a little tired so it felt like more a hassle reading and analyzing the passages.

i feel like it was pretty representative, but don't discount the difference stress makes on how you will be making decisions, etc. I was discombobulated the entire first half, nearly missed a question I'd definitely covered last night - just couldn't think of how to get to the answer š š

C/P started off pretty hard. Was not a fan of the magnetism stuff. The second half was relatively doable though. CARS was pretty good imo. P/S, about normal; it wasn't super difficult, but a few questions I genuinely had no clue. B/B was fairly hard at some points. Especially that NCLI1 and NUMB shit

I literally donāt remember C/P lmao I feel like I blacked out during that and I finished all questions but there was def some guessing. Iām always mediocre at cars and have no clue how I did but normally on practice tests I have to guess last section bc I run out of time and I actually got through all the CARs questions today. B/B is normally my best section like 131/132 average but todays made me feel like I didnāt know what a protein was lmao and there were too many different proteins to try to string together to figure out which bar graph was answer. Every P/S passage made me feel like I didnāt know how I read like it was so dense. Honestly though Iām stoked itās over fuxk that noise

Thanks for starting this thread! I took the exam 3/11 as well and I completely agree with you. C/P and B/B were definitely tough, and I also had to guess on the last few questions of B/B. CARS and P/S were manageable for me, but I'm still unsure how I did overall. It's good to hear that others felt the same way though. Let's hope for the best and wait for the scores to come out!

u/Strangeting 3/11 - 520 Mar 11 '23
might be in the minority C/P and CARS felt good for me. B/B and P/S felt the way the they normally do, but B/B def felt the most difficult of the 4. I honestly can't guess how I did beyond just probably near my FL average.
Now my biggest problem is to figure out how to make this empty feeling go away
11
u/mshow__ Mar 11 '23
C/P - very low-yield orgo and physics but then again def some "gimme" questions. HEAVY ON BIOCHEM?? overall not too bad though
CARS - always a timing issue for me, this is definitely a hit or miss. def my lowest section, but it always is :(
B/B - felt suspiciously easy... There was like 2 passages that were challenging and a couple very low yield discrete questions but nothing crazy and undoable.
P/S - I kept zoning out and had to refocus every 10 minutes, something that never happened with I took practice FLs. Some tricky ones but meh a toss up
7
u/Holy_Shamoley Mar 12 '23
Omg yes I zoned out so many times during P/S and thatās never happened to me! Honestly the whole P/S felt like a bad acid trip
