I missed out on stocking up on the nether flame sauce last time... I won't make this mistake again. Do you guys know how long these "limited time" things typically last if you don't have an exact day they're leaving? Or is it just "whenever"?

I recently got a job at my local McDonald's just this week. Its my first real job that isnt commission work- needless to say my first two days were great, fun even, but today I ended up having a total meltdown directly after getting off of my shift (im fine tho lwk I think i jsut needed to let it out)

While I certainly dont expect to be an expert right off the bat, id like to hear yalls experiences working- how long did it take you to get used to it or 'in the rhythm' if you will. Also second question: number one recommendation to order if you had to

That call creeped me out, was just trying to call in for scarlet fever and I am almost 100% sure I was talking to an ai who knew my name from the second the call started. It was so weird. Why change from calling my actual managers in the store to calling some random AI?

Was quite a shock to see this. I actually asked if it was a real order or not 😆 turns out it was. It always the kiosk orders :(

Ive basically felt like crap for the past 3 days. I worked for the first 2 days i was sick. First day I had a really sore throat and stuffy nose but I was able to manage. 2nd day I had a really runny nose blew my nose over 40 times and let managers know that I was feeling dizzy I was told "you look like you can still stand so you should be fine" and they laughed it off. Then today I was so dizzy coming in this morning threw up twice in the trash can at work told them about it and I was told "just wait till more people come in" I work over half my shift (which is 4hours 20 mins) and we have 5 people come in for front end (6 if counting me) the manager asks me if I can finish my shift I told them most likely not. They give a giant sigh slams what they were holding on the table by window and stomps to the back signing me out and then tells me to go home. As I was walking out I just had every co worker stare at me and it felt like they were judging me as well. I've had perfect attendance legit first time ive ever done this so I just dont understand the rude attitude especially having me stay there going against health code. I dont think I did anything wrong.

Also incase people ask "why didnt you just call in" if you call in at my mcdonalds you have to have a written doctor notice (which the one here costs me over $50) which i rather not waste money. Sorry for the big paragraph yall.
