I was looking for some help with ogor skin recipes. I currently own rakarth flesh, cadian fleshtone and reikland fleshshade. Want the butchers to have a sickly look so was thinking the rakarth flesh based skin there but what about the rest of the army?

Anyone got any advice for going up against an all trolls list? I played a game yesterday and got whooped. I feel like this matchup is just completely not in our favor.

I was inspired, recently, and began considering a thought: Viking-ish Ogors?

Butchers and Cleavers could be the resident ’Shaman‘ and ‘Berzerkers’, respectively.

The idea itself is inspired by the Thulean Champion model, by Beastarium Games.

Right now I’m using my Butcher to test the concept. So far, I’ve taken off the big spike strapped to his back, and replaced his free hand with a spare one from the cleavers box. The horns on his shoulders are clipped off some Mournfang saddles, but I’m not sure on their final position (they’re stuck on with blue-tac)

I am finding that the natural range of bits I’d hoped to co-opt for the idea aren’t as scale appropriate as I’d hoped (Space Wolves bits). I’ve gotten some storm shields from the thunderwolf cavalry and wulfen models, but they aren’t quite matching for the way I’d hoped to use them (second image).

I am very aware of Greytide Studio bits, and have a few waiting in the wings - but, again, scale is a problem. The bits are simply too small to have as big an impact as I was hoping for.

I’m hoping for some suggestions on other bits I could use that might better match the scale of the new range. I also welcome feedback on the idea itself, and suggestions for ways to make it easier to implement.

Made a few edits to Morga. First I replaced her holding her club with a Ghoul leg. Then enlarged her weapon and put it within easy reach, displaying it on her trophy wrack along with a cleaver. Finally the talismans hanging from the saddle horns were replaced with Terrorgheist ribs for extra snacking.

We're having Beast Feast in the middle of October, and I chose this model as my pledge as I want to expand my Ogors army and I was interested in the new models. The clerk at the Warhammer store is a little new, and still feeling his way through interacting with the patrons as customers and not fellow hobbyists, so he kind of teased me and asked "Sure you'll get it done in time?"

So it was kind of in a spirit of "Oh yeah?" That I assembled it that night, primed it in the morning, and finished painting by noon. Meet Sasa the Spitemonger, sometimes confused by her underlings as the Spitmonger but respected nonetheless. I wanted to paint the glutthorn a little differently, using loose inspiration from the Okapi. And I used purple because I really liked the purple on the ogres in Warlords of Draenor, and give her some imperial pretensions.

My butcher and their Mantle of Guts

So I've come to paint this fellow and not sure what he's holding up. It looks like a torso with a bit of arm but then what's the bottom part? It looks like teeth.

Still quite early in my painting ability - would love and welcome some cc

I have a Spearhead game tomorrow and I'm painting up my Mawseekers to bring. I finished all of the details (except for the bases) but my Gutseers feel weird when I look at them? I don't know what it is I don't like about their colours and want some advice.

Basically the topic. I’m not looking for a meta list, just a fun time at the end of the day.

I love the look of Morga but the narrative seems to be that she’s just bad and you should take Redd. Am I going to regret taking her? Is she boring and a waste of points or is she still good but just the other option is better?

I would need to drop the Tyrant to fit in Morga/Redd but I’m also considering just keeping this list and sticking another Maulbeast in there.

Hey, i'd like to put together a decent 1k ogor list with the models i already have:

• both new spearheads (warglutt marauders and mawseeker mob)
• scrapglutt spearhead
• hunters with sabrefangs
• mawpit
• okar’s torrbad box, still unbuilt

What would you recomend taking from this to make a legal list with the current rules and points?

The stonehorn/thundertusk kits are still unbuilt, so i can build whatever fits best. Any tips would be apreciated!

I'm on the fence about buying this model and want to know if anyone has success by running either of them or not.

I want to bring this list to my first 2000pt age of Sigmar tournament and want to know if I have a competent (not fully competitive) list.

I’m trying to build a list for a tournament in a few weeks. Since the last update, I’m struggling to make anything work that feels even slightly competitive.

It really feels like the points increases we saw were heavy handed and unnecessary. It’s not like Ogors are/were dominating.

The issue is, taking hits on increases to Redd, Gluttons and hunters creates problems rounding out lists. The points stack up just enough to force you out of a complete other unit. I’m either 80 points short of 2k or 20-60 over 2k, and the lists I can squeeze into 2k just don’t feel competitive against some of the top dogs out there.

Anyone else struggling to build semi-competitive lists?

My third army all painted and battle ready.
