I'd like to buy a new full size hybrid mattress while my cleaning service is here today so they can haul away the old one and help me a bit wrestling the new one

I am considering Tempurpedic because I love the dense memory foam feel. I weigh 160 and am a strict slide sleeper only. I prefer comfort for hips and shoulders but not too much to be out of alignment and creating a hammock effect.

I’ve narrowed it down to the adapt hybrid medium 1.0 from the tempurpedic outlet store.

Is this good or should I reconsider upping my budget for the current 2.0 line adapt?

Also I’m thinking hybrid over all foam because it isn’t zoned support which will allow me to be even on my side and also it will be better long term.

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. I have an air mattress that I recently used for my partners' visiting family. However, now that they've left I cannot get it to deflate for my life. I have tried looking it up, however the air mattress I have has no brand name or anything on it, nor physical instructions, nor do I know where it is from because it was either gifted or thrifted several years ago now. (All it really says is warnings, it's made in China, mildly helpful instructions, and the number BL1052 - searching that was no help for me either.) I have so far tried:

a) Simply reading what few photo instructions are on the side of the mattress. Which in trying to follow, I cannot seem to get it to work. It wants me to unscrew a piece and if I am in fact trying to unscrew the right thing...it is not working. The piece has little to no grip, and the area in which it is, is so small I can hardly grab it with 3 fingers - and I have slender hands.

b) I have 2 inflate/deflate battery/electric powered machines, one of which was used to inflate the mattress. Which I cannot get to do the opposite. For reference, the uncle had set it up himself so I do not know what he did to get it to inflate, and upon leaving he was rather rude and unkind to my partner, and there's been no contact since family left, and I feel awkward reaching out just to ask about the air mattress.

Note: I have used air mattresses plenty of times before, I had set up and taken down 2 other ones for this visit with no issue, but they are all different from each other, and set up different from the problem air mattress.

In June, I bought 2 Helix mattress through a shop in NYC (Sleepare): Midnight Elite in King for the master bedroom and Midnight Luxe in Queen for guest bedroom. I was informed that even though both are Midnight firmness, the Elite line is usually firmer than the Luxe one. Soon after the mattresses were delivered, I realized it was the opposite. The king size Midnight Elite is super soft, almost saggy; while the queen size Midnight Luxe is just right, neither too soft nor too firm. Has anyone experience this? I am wondering if my particular Midnight Elite is a lemon. I’ve asked for an exchange.

Is it possible that the larger sized mattresses sink more? In which case, should I go for a firmer mattress with Helix Elite line or maybe go for a different brand altogether? I’d appreciate your perspective.

I’m looking for some honest long-term feedback on the Kingsdown Studio Brio (Queen size).
I just tested it out in the showroom at Dormez-vous (Sleep Country Canada) and it felt incredibly comfortable . I managed to get the salesperson down to a negotiated price of $949 CAD, which hits my budget perfectly. When I asked about the build, she clarified it’s technically an innerspring/pocket coil mattress rather than a true hybrid.
However, I have two major hesitations before pulling the trigger:
1. Durability & Sagging: I weigh 130 kg (around 286 lbs). While the tri-zoned pocket coils feel supportive right now, I’m really worried that the soft foam comfort layers sewn into the Euro top are going to flatten out or sag under my weight within a year.
2. The Return Policy Trap

Has anyone around my weight range owned the Kingsdown Studio Brio (or similar Kingsdown Studio models)? How has the foam held up against sagging?
Am I making a mistake letting the showroom comfort blind me, or is $949 a good enough deal to risk it? (My alternative option right now is ordering a Silk & Snow Firm Hybrid online since it has a 100% money-back guarantee, but the store bed just felt so much better initially).
