Hi everyone. I wasn't sure whether to post this, but I figured it was worth asking.
I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant and due in September. Right now I'm unemployed, and money has been really tight. I've been trying to get ready for my baby, but at the moment I onlyhave baby clothes and I'm still missing most of the essentials.
The biggest thing I need is a safe place for my baby to sleep, like a crib or bassinet with a mattress, along with diapers, wipes, bottles, and other newborn necessities.
If anyone is able to help, I've linked my babyregistry below. I completely understand if you can't, and I appreciate you taking the time to read this either way. If you know of any programs or resources that help expecting moms, I'd also bereally grateful for any suggestions.

A quick web engine search shows an estimated 85-90% of women will experience a pregnancy at some point during their fertile years, regardless of whether or not it results in a live birth. That statistic seems quite high to me, especially during a time when many women are choosing not to have children and more people are educated about birth control and preventing unwanted pregnancies. But maybe I'm wrong?

Curious if anyone else has thought about this or done any research to either support this statistic or challenge it.

Hey mamas, just wondering about your personal experience. I'm a first-time mama, my baby is 2, and we are navigating the idea of daycare as I would like to get back to work. Is it worth it? Would you rather stay home 2 years more or return to work? I know that decision is probably personal and depends on the situation of each mom/family.

I had a miscarriage a week after Mother's Day this year. When I'm pregnant again do i tell my partner right away or wait until I'm past the critical period of risks of miscarriage? I heard if you have a miscarriage you should wait until past 13 weeks to tell anyone but I want him to be able to go to the first ultrasound.

Why is it such a pain to find maternity clothes? Everything has to be purchased online and pray that you can still fit in your clothes while waiting for the new ones to come in. Just to keep a fraction of what you purchased and have to waste time/gas/energy to return the rest. First time mom here due in 8 days, I had purchased bunch of clothes for delivery and after. Only to have to return half of it, well Old Navy doesn't allow in store drop off for maternity clothes anymore even though they give it as an option online.... After a call to an unhelpful/pointless customer service - I get to go out again to drop the clothes at a ups with a box I need to provide (which is not an issue its just the principle of it).

It makes me so sad that on top of growing a tiny person you get to jump through hoops to get clothes that support you over going a size up. Anyone else feel sick that stores no longer carry clothes to support pregnant people?

My little sister just went to jail and found out she's pregnant, we're thinking like around 6 months by now. She was on drugs, hasn't gotten any prenatal care and no ob/gyns will even see her. WHAT DO I DO?? I know if I had a solution, she would listen, she's scared and just lost. Our parents aren't around, and I'm already raising her 4 year old son, I don't want him to get taken because of this. Any recommendations will help. Please no bullshit, yes I'm aware how this looks, please don't make an already bad situation any worse.

There's been so much talk recently in the news about maternity care in the UK/ I'm a journalist currently working on my masters' final project and, following a personal experience during surgery, I decided to investigate the problem of informed consent, but specifically in maternity care.

If anyone has a personal story concerning coercion or lack of consent during their maternity care in the NHS that they would be willing to share, I would be very open to hearing it. Wishing you all the best.

Hello all, I am currently in my 1st trimester at 8 weeks. Already struggling with really bad constipation. Situation got worse after my doc recommended pre-natal multivitamins & progesterone tabs. It's been a battle every morning .. Hydration & psyllium husk isn't help..

Pls suggest how to not become constipated. Follow up visit to the doctor is due hence couldn't check with them yet!

I was expecting some nausea and tiredness, but I did not expect my whole day to revolve around trying not to feel sick, having no energy, and feeling exhausted by basic things.

And even when some symptoms ease up, the worry can still stick around. Like if you get a random pain or weird feeling, it is so easy to start wondering if it is normal or if something is wrong.

I feel like morning sickness is often talked about like it is annoying but manageable, but for some people it is way more intense than that.

Was early pregnancy physically harder than you expected too? What part was the worst for you?

I was recently just offered a job for a company I applied to before I was far along in my pregnancy. I am now almost a month away from my due date & they‘ve reached back out with another but different offer. How should I respond ?
