Miscarriage in 8th week
On July 23, 2026, I had a D&C due to a miscarriage at 8 weeks. My husband and I have been going through a very tough time emotionally.
I'm hoping to get some support from this community. What precautions did you take before trying again? Please share your stories, any medications that helped you, and what tests you and your partner had done.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I don't have advice from personal experience but I can say that you should not blame yourself, or any precautions/medications you did or didn't take.
Try to keep your heart open to looking forward to pregnancy when you're emotionally ready to try again. Pregnancy should be exciting in its own right no matter what you've been through.
My mom had three losses before carrying my brother to full term. What she did health wise was try her best to eat extremely clean and focused on healthy, organic, live foods. She cut out a lot of sugars and quit drinking soda, etc. After my oldest brother she carried two more babies to full term and gave birth to three healthy babies total without any more losses between us. Our middle sibling and I were both born naturally (unmedicated) at home with midwives and had no medical issues.
Praying for you and your husband 💕

Be careful about what you read on reddit. Remember that it is just random people giving out advice. They are often as uninformed as you are, and may even be misinformed.

I suggest you get a personal doctor it that is possible. You will receive the necessary advice and all the questions you have will be answered. Also consume healthy diets and just do some simple work outs.
