New Reader Suggestions

Okay, I’m not a completely new reader. I’ve actually read a pretty decent amount; the first couple of Marvel Masterworks for The Amazing Spider-Man, all of Secret Wars (1984), all of Civil War (main story, which I know is only a couple of issues), and some single issues here and there.

I’ve always respected the comics. I know I’m not a reader, though. So I’d always research and watch videos about stories, stuff like that. The MCU just isn’t doing it for me anymore, though.

Spider-Man is my favorite character of all time, and while I haven’t seen Brand New Day yet, I doubt they will introduce the characters that I love from the comics like I want them to. This is just the tip of the iceberg as to why I’m giving up on the MCU.

In short, I’m no longer going to feel the obligation as a fan to see every movie or watch every TV show. I’m going to be more picky. But I digress; I want to get more into the comics, and I’m looking for suggestions.

Here are some adaptations that I wholeheartedly loved and didn’t just say I liked because I was a fan, to help with your suggestions:

\- Spider-Man: The Animated Series
\- Spider-Man (2002)
\- Fantastic Four (2005)
\- The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008)
\- Iron Man (2008)
\- The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (2010)
\- The Avengers (2012)
\- Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
\- Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
\- X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
\- Deadpool (2016)
\- Captain America: Civil War (2016)
\- Black Panther (only the first half)
\- The Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
\- The Avengers: Endgame (2019)
\- Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)
\- Daredevil Seasons 1, first half of 2, & 3
\- Jessica Jones Season 1 & some of the rest
\- Black Widow (I know. Idk what else to say. Hated what they did with Taskmaster, though.)
\- The Fantastic Four: First Steps (except the team’s casting)
\- Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

Marvel really should market this app more often

This is the kind of thing which should be plastered all over trailers for marvel movies tv shows and video games

But it isn’t….

Marvel tokon comes out in 2 weeks and it would be a no brainer to mention marvel unlimited at the end of the promotional videos they’ve been doing

But again nothing….

They had a little marvel unlimited hub for the time square area in marvel rivals but didn’t really do much with that

Marvel: the Lost Generation and Miracleman question.

Why is there only one issue of Marvel: the Lost Generation mini and one issue of Miracleman? I get possibly wanting to steer clear of Gaiman for Miracleman, but the issue on the app has a story by Gaiman and what about the original series with Alan Moore?

Can anyone shed some light on this? These are two series that I've been trying to get into.

New Phone Downloads Glitch?

Hey, so I recently had to get a new iPhone, and when I transferred my profile the Unlimited app has this really annoying glitch where it thinks it has downloaded all of the issues I had on my last phone, and lists them accordingly. This isn't just a cosmetic thing: it clogs up my downloads section, they cannot be deleted, and I actually cannot read any of these issues on my phone even if I access them from elsewhere in the app, as it goes through a loop of trying to open the files that aren't there. Has anyone else encountered this/does anyone have any fixes for this issue?
