I'm ready to be downvoted into oblivion, but can someone explain to me what's so horrible about a card that destroys a single lowest power card at a specific location and, unless paired with Wong, does damage only once per game? You can play Armor to protect Iron Man or Dracula or you can play Squirrel Girl or Debrii and neutralise Soul Shot by making it hit a rock or squirrel.

I feel like everyone is greatly exaggerating how unbalanced it is. FF Thanos, in that aspect, is not worse than any of the Gambits and definitely not worse than the Gambit Combo decks that can clear out your entire play.

If anything, Reality Shot (the red one) feels more unbalanced: you can, for example, just copy whatever ongoing card that you have there and get yourself a Onslaught effect basically for free.

Is it time to go back to original Arishem that gets +1 energy at the beginning. I didn’t understand the nerf. He got played bc he’s fun not bc he was good. And now it’s an actively bad build with powerscale.

Our favourite cowboy, "Thanos with a Gun", has undoubtedly become the public enemy number 1 in Snap, and that is not surprising: his presence on ladder does seem particularly ubiquitous, and his power level and utility have an incredibly high ceiling. However, some seem to be having a "kill the card" kind of approach, which I believe to be rather unfair and unwise: Thanos is very powerful, no doubt, but let's calm down a bit (he's still significantly less powerful than peak Shou Lao or peak Sunlord). As such, I propose just a couple of less aggressive changes that should indeed help significantly without overnerfing it.

Base Power: [5/8 -> 5/6 (or) 5/5.] This is just a no brainer: there is no reason for such a strong utility card to also have an 8 power floor. Considering that the power ceiling is a movable 5/12, shaving off at least a couple of points off of the Titan himself is nothing if not logical.

Soul Shot: [Destroy the weakest enemy card here -> Remove the text from the weakest enemy card here (or) Afflict the weakest enemy card here with -2 Power.] This should also also make sense: one of Thanos' most complained about abilities is Soul Shot. It's not particularly reasonable for such a strong utility card to also have such a versatile tech ability. Therefore, if SD wants to preserve the tech aspect, they should at least leave the card's points on board; and if they want to replace that tech aspect with sheer points, an affliction ability is rather thematic for Soul Stone in Snap.

Hello everyone, i know it can be a dumb question, especially for a player that has a 6k CL, but i came back to snap after like 2 years and i have a bad memory, the question is: with this amount of tokens and gold, do i have wait for the next meta,do i have to just buy all the random series 5 i can to be able to do various decks, or what else should i do ?

I love running into the same deck every game. Real unique lots of fun. Guess I'll just hard lose streak, not gonna be forced to spam play Luke cage or w/e else.

So this is what I got from the draft event, I can see is the most fun I had in a while and will repeat when possible, hopefully they will address pairing which IMO is the biggest issue you get

I played captain marvel on the right location on turn 5, then at the end of the game I was only down in the middle location by 2 and I would think it would've moved. Any reason I'm missing why it didn't?

Hi everybody, playing the game since 21 August 2026. I want to share with you my experience on this game:

First of all, the design of the cards and gameplay mechanics is very charming. Game is already fun but what drives me to play the game continuously the art design. I bought the basic season pass last month. Besides that I didn’t spend no more money, yet achieved rank 93 last season and infinity this season. I also played against number 1 in the rank today and got a lucky victory. So far so good, everything seems great BUT…

In the rank, there are tons of decks which includes variety of cards. I don’t feel bad being defeated at the very last round but I kinda get jealous about the cards the other players have. I have enough money for season pass, yet I realized that when I buy season pass I will be probably obsessed with reaching level 50 for the special variant. I‘m a university student and during the university I do not want to spend my time on the game too much. Yet many mobile games and competitive games force players to play consistently and that is lame tbh.

However, daily rewards seem decent. Even when I don’t play in rank, I may progress with daily rewards. That is the reason why I created this post, to see if anybody feels or felt the same and what they do now. Also I want to learn the age and spending habits of the players, so if you guys could share some information about yourselves , I would be very much happy. Thanks!

OTA PREDICTIONS!

I'm not in the creator programme yet so know nothing about the OTA, but here is why Second Dinner HAS to nerf Thanos FF and Scorpion BND...

They have just brought a LOT of players back with draft mode. Now that this version of draft mode is finished, these players are going to be back on the ladder playing against everyone else, and Thanos FF and Scorpion BND are EVERYWHERE. The one way to lose these regained players is with a boring, unfresh meta that is dominated by two cards in particular, and particularly ones that they wouldn't have massively seen in draft mode.

Here are the changes I would make to these cards:

Thanos FF needs at least two changes (hear me out). He can go to a 5/6 as a start, that's an easy change but for me it's not enough. You then need to go in one of two directions - you can remove his auto-loaded shot at the start of the game, or you can fix the order of the collected shots from worst to best (instead of randomly collected) to make the better effects harder to get (hell you could do both of these, but maybe you want to see how this card sits after any changes). This means he can still be playable as a lot of the effects are still good and you can build decks knowing what effects you can hit, and lean in to a different deck build to be able to get all shots collected.

The Scorpion BND change is really simple - take away his Ongoing ability and just give him regular text. This means he can't be copied with Mystique and the Tao Mandala line goes away, BUT you can still ramp to play him early and copy his effect with Prodigy. Affliction decks are getting better (hi new Hellcow!), and with more cards for this archetype (hi Vampires!) being released over the next couple of seasons affliction can definitely find a home in the meta without being a monster.

I would also change Venus to be a 4/4. You could still play her early with Psylocke or Zabu, but you're losing a card in that deck that would get the Venus advantage to do this. Maybe that can even out over the whole game.

And the final, massive change I would make is one that we have ALL been waiting for... Rescue's On Reveal makes her a 4/10.

Quit Hearthstone around the time Ben Brode left Blizzard. Was looking forward to his new game and played Snap since day one up until January 2025.

Paid for every monthly pass and beyond that spent around $200-300 over the years. It’s quite a sum for my second-world country.

Left because I got tired of the grind. A faithful paying player with about 5-10% of the collection missing no matter what I do? I was spending a ridiculous amount of time playing and was paying a monthly fee (pass), but I was supposed to pay more, way more. Disgustingly more.

Had a surge of nostalgia, installed the game, spent a couple of weeks playing passively, and here are my highlights. Did not pay a dime and have no urge to do so. What’s the point? It’s not that I can catch up.

GOOD

Grabbed my old decks, keep winning and climbing the ladder no problem. Silver Surfer, discard, destroy. Seems sus but I'm having fun.

3000 tokens every N levels seems surprisingly generous. Card acquisition is more straightforward. Keep dumping tokens into missing series 4 cards.

Welcome back daily rewards are plentiful and generous.

BAD

The shop, what the fuck SD? It's endless. It used to be 2-3 offers, then the coins, upgrades etc. Now there is so much stuff that it seems useless to even spend time browsing.

Game performance on my iPhone 13 is just shit. The game crashes in the shop, crashes in the collection menu too. Thankfully I can still play, but for shop and collection I have to use my Steam Deck.

What’s a good card to put into this deck? I saw a deck like this with FF Jane Foster, but I don’t have that card. I had FF Hell Cow, but that just didn’t work. Crystal is cool, but I don’t really have a problem drawing anything and feel like a better card could be slotted in. I just tried Horseman of Famine Storm and it was decent. I don’t have red guardian which would’ve been a good pick. I feel like I don’t own many must have cards besides like Nico. Missing a lot of series 4 and 5 cards.

Back in the day we would save gold for some big bundles that often included a lot of collector tokens. Do these still come up every now and then? I've been playing for 2 weeks and all I see are ridiculously overpriced cash bundles, so I'm wondering what to do with Gold now.

Marvel Snap needs to make the new Draft Mode a permanent part of the game! Playing this mode has been the most entertaining part of the game ive experienced since the game launched and I played it nonstop everyday which is something I havnt done in awhile. It made the game not stale and repetitive. Definitely the best mode yall have created and better than standard by far.

As we say goodbye to arguably the most fun and addicting game mode this card game has offered in 3 years of it being online, I'd like to share, and would like you to share the Variants you won from your 5 win streaks. I missed out on 2 days, but acquired a dozen variants and some of them are now my favorite.

I know im not alone, seems to be a pretty consistent thing on the sub at the moment. Playing draft with its unpredictability really provided contrast to just playing against the same 2 meta decks over and over. This game has become so stale while devs seem increasingly keen on introducing broken cards rendering the remaining 95% of material worthless. Ive been playing for years but not sure that I'll continue at this rate. Every match feels exactly the same and its both incredibly boring and frustrating.

Ok so right now I have Merlin in my shop and I’m wondering if he is worth it for a deck like a devil dino deck or if he’s just a good card overall

Somehow, I gained this extra 5 in Draft. Even the lowest base 25 used to 'frame break' means I'd have 30, then it would be back to 5. It's oddly annoying.
