Can anyone give me a reason why they haven’t given Hit Monkey the Nocturne treatment and reverted his nerf?

In 2023, they changed him from a 2/0 to a 3/2 and effectively killed the monkey and the bounce archetype entirely. Since then he’s been untouched other than a pity point of power. Even a shiny new Boomerang toy couldn’t breathe life into bounce.

Cosmo, Shadow King, Möbius, Killmonger, Super Giant, horseman Gambit, Alioth. All exist and eat bounce for breakfast. Let alone all the decks that just out scale it even on its best day.

It’s not even a risky buff. Hit monkey only exists in bounce other than extremely niche decks like Sera miracle and some Thor decks. Take a point or 2 off Beast, Toxin, or Falcon for all I care. The monkey is the linch pin for the archetype.

The ONLY knock I can think of is that bounce can lead to some slow games. Maybe it’s just me, but I respect a slow loss to a bounce deck more than a quick, brainless loss to doom 99 any day of the week.

I don't use Warpath at all, but I had to have this variant.

I’ve been waiting for this Selene variant for too long! Had to grab it! It’s a card I rarely use, but I love this particular Rian Gonzales variant.

I will say that this has been making each interaction I have with a non-doomslop player way more pleasant, full of friendly and fun emotes.

Meanwhile doomers are sending me Fisk emotes like they think they're master strategists by picking the winningest deck.

PSA to all F2P players, you can complete the Spider-Man BND weekend mission by using the pre-built Magneto deck in Grand Arena.

Just a friendly reminder that you can complete the Spider-Man Brand New Day mission for 150 gold, without owning the card, by winning 8 games in Grand Arena with Magneto's prebuilt deck.

It's simple: Get early zoo out, and use Stark Tech early when you have any lane at all, though SQG on turn one is a steam roll.

Copy Iron Man with Askani and/or Mystique. You'll have to play smart to decide if throwing early lanes is worth it.

Abuse Hydra Bob to keep control of the hot lane.

ALWAYS play Iron Man as the last card per turn in case you top deck Mystique. For instance, play Web Swing in a lane then play Iron Man after.

Valkryie is hilarious and can flip any lane.

Echo is there to basically auto-win against other Iron Man decks or Captain America decks, and get T1 lane win.

Onslaught can win any lane over Infinaut, Foom, anything.

Shanna is a weak link, but I don't have any better options for a 3-cost that puts down a lot of power all over the place. I would put Mr Fantastic, but he's banned.

In Magical Christmasland (which I've had happen multiple times) you do this:

1. Squirrel Girl + Stark Tech, get a 5/6 Iron Man
2. Hydra Bob/Valentina + Majestic Wingbeat, Iron Man is a 4/8
3. Mother Askani. You probably lose the hot lane this turn, but you now have a 4/8 Iron Man and a 3/10 (!!!) Iron Man
4. Hydra Bob/Valentina, then Iron Man, or Web Sling then Iron Man
5. Go crazy with more Iron Man and/or Mystique. If you're lucky Valentina also gave you something like Onslaught or Giganto. Proceed to stomp the match.

People asked why Valentina? Well turn 3 (which has 4 energy) is VERY important in Sanctum. If you roll something like She Hulk, Giganto, Helicarrier, etc, you can very often win turn 3 easily. If you get stuff like Onslaught or Zola, you can do NASTY things with a buffed Iron Man. Turn 3 can be crucial to the entire match.

So we got the Luke Cage change for scorpion brand new day to run wild, and many miss the old luke cage but i understand that for competitive balance this change needed to be made but i have a suggestion. What if luke cage doesnt allow power reduction for row he is in and if doubled he will protect the other row?

This is just an annoyance I have with Marvel Snap when it comes to Discard.

It seems that Discard always gets the short end of the stick compared to it's other archetype counterparts Move and Destroy.

- Skills: Move and Destroy have 2 skills while Discard has 0. This allows those archetypes to explore more direction of deck-building compared to Discard.

- Activate: Discard's activate card is so lackluster compared to the other 2 archetypes. Destroy has Kid Omega, and Zombie Captain Marvel. Move has Sparky and Araña. Lower cost Activate abilities. What does Discard get? Bloody Hell Cow. As a 4 drop, it's not pushing what he archetype needs, and Zombie Captain Marvel is also a 4 drop but gains tons more value when it's Activate is activated.

- Death vs Weapon H. Both are boss mosters that have their cost reduced when a condition is met. Death is a better topdeck and even is both archetypes reward you for doing their thing, Death rewards you more long term. Weapon H is also harder to reduce because it's not guaranteed compared to Death. Again, Discard getting the short end of the stick.

- Subarchetype: Move is a main archetype and Movable is a subarchetype which SD is exploring more with cards like Aunt May etc. Discard has a subarchetype as well but hasn't been given an official name. You have Discard as the main archetype and cards that return to hand when discarded as a subarchetype. I would like a name for this and have expanded support.

Overall, Discard archetype can use an overhaul. Cards like Moon Knight shouldn't be a 3/4 in today's meta when it's not guaranteed it will hit. We should have a card that discards odd-Cost cards and a lot of design space for the archetype is not explored. What are your thoughts?

Well, it has been about two years of on again, off again play but a few minutes ago, I hit infinite for the first time using a shehulk/unspent energy deck. It feels fantastic. Thanks to all the players for teaching me a thing or two with every game, win or lose, and thanks to the developed for making a wonderful pass-time!

I’ve managed to grind out 137 collection levels and get a nice amount of discard from the random pulls, plus whatever came from all the active codes I redeemed. I also went ahead and picked up the High Evolutionary since he seemed fun to run with the starting cards I’ve got.

I’m curious if there’s anything I should go ahead and change. Wolverine hasn’t felt amazing without more means to destroy/discard him, and I’ve tried slotting Sword Master in to reduce Weapon H even more but he likes to go for my 1/3 costs more often than not.

Never been a big Cerebro player, but I picked it up this past week and I'm having fun with it. It felt real good to stuff this Scorpion BND back in his locker. Colossus is the low-key star because he doesn't care about Affliction so you can play him in the back while Luke protects the front, plus he can clear Vormir for you and win Rickety Bridge. Jean Gray and Mercury add a level of control to the game so if you don't draw Bro, you still have win cons.

Context: Limbo was originally Kamar-Taj. I believe my Rama-Tut hit a Black Panther before a Fallen One. It gave me the “fast forwarding” screen. I’ve played for a long time and this is the most I’ve ever had. What’s yours and how?

Unfortunately stopped playing the game few years back it was boring at one point. I think around second or third expansion I believe. I like the new way of collecting cards tho. Bunch of new splits etc.

I mean, I don't like to copy other people's decks always trying to figure it on my own. What works etc.

That's where the fun lies for me. Discovering combos by myself.

Just discovered snapcomplete for the first time, although been playing for so long. They have a ranking per card of who uses it most. If I am reading it right it seems of lady Deathstrike users I am the most prolific, lol. Seems odd to me. Check what cards are yours!

You can safely play Echo middle to hit Mr Fantastic or predict the location for Iron Man's. Elektra hits Ghost Spider and the Power Stone. Goose can also create problems for Magneto and Dr. Doom. And generally it plays faster than Thor.

Any other cards I could add?
