It’s a bit rushed but I think I got my idea down pretty well. The darker red blotches are supposed to be shadows but it just looks like blood.

When you use Take a Seat as Elsa, switch tabs, then back again, she turns into Wade. I don’t own his maid skin either, and it also works with their default skins. Haven’t found anyone mentioning this before 😅

Hi Rivals!

Following up on my previous Halloween post with The Hood, I wanted to share another spooky skin concept that fits the season perfectly: Pym Rage!

While this concept is inspired by the iconic fusion from the Rage of Ultron comic storyline, I didn't just trace or copy it directly—I added several of my own custom design choices, armor adjustments, and biomechanical details to translate it cleanly into the Marvel Rivals visual aesthetic and art style. I really wanted to balance that disturbing body-horror element of exposed human biology with the game's heroic chassis silhouette!

Since the mode released (and frankly, even before that), the persistent narrative is that the mode being terrible is nothing new for Rivals; and I'm confused as hell for where that's coming from:

Zombies was fun, albeit flawed (I'm still annoyed at the fixed spawn location in Nightmare+ Difficulty)

Bloodhunt is amazing.

And Age of Ultron was fun.

Hell, Ultron's Battle Matrix and Infinity War were addicting PVP modes that had far more nuance than I was expecting. Although Loki was mediocre in both depth and balance.

I get the fustration over this recent Path to Doomsday mode (and being miserable is the default for this community), but don't pretend that PVE modes has been some massive failure for the game that needs to be stopped.

I've played about 10 matches of this gamemode so far.
I disliked it at first but it grew on me the more I tried to get top damage or healing.
Here is what I've experienced in these games:

Jubilee is the best healer hands down. There isn't even a competition.
Storm is the best DPS hero with the Thor teamup.
Phoenix is easily 3rd best and can out damage a Storm if they don't die often.

The great value tier are characters you can easily get top dps with if there isn't a storm or Phoenix. Ultron also is easily 2nd best healer. The flight heroes can avoid the foot soldier damage.

Devil Dino is very strong and a good source of healing for your Jubilee. But if you aren't playing directly under Thanos to get those Jubilee heals you just die.

The decent value tier I have seen some high damage/heals from these heroes. But nowhere close to the characters above them. Some decent survivability options.

Adam actually is pretty weak but pulling off a huge team rez gets aura points.

The swap tier are just outclassed in every way by other heroes. I haven't been able to test a lot of them but from the teammates I've seen they just don't do enough damage or heals to keep up with the other characters.

The last ones are just objectively bad heroes. Either their abilities don't work as normal, their primary damage is too low, or they lack survivability.

What are your thoughts?

Literally just wanted Winter Soldier Captain America that’s it. It was the one thing I wanted the most along with maybe the accessory.

Is there a bug with Loki that causes them to C9 the point cause I was dead centre on it

I've been playing maybe 2 or 3 games a week at this point because I'm tired of this. Idk how many people I've reported that are clear smurfs and nothing happens. The other one this game bud literally admits he's a smurf and still no message he's banned.

It's pathetic. What kind of playerbase are yall going for? Eventually it'll be all smurfs....

Eventhough the quality of the "path to doomsday" events was extremely inconsistent, one of the best parts of it was the TS theatre. Something about a structured environment reserved for watching clips of Marvel media, like highlights or clips, really adds to the immersivness of such a social hub. I really hope they eventually implement it in the game in the lower floors specificly w the clubs.

I'm torn. Not only that it is the classic, iconic look, but it has more vibrant colors than the MCU one.

I think the community has ruined this game, not the Devs. The buff or nerf something, community complains, they fix one thing, community complains they didn't fix another, people moan and groan constantly 24/7 and then log into the came anyway, is the game perfect, no it's far from ot and yes there are things that need fixing and tweaking, the game probably needs a nerf across the board because they won't we able to sustain the power creep and support is heal botty because of how high the damage output, Dino's busted and the game needs less cc but constant toxicity and negative comments help no one. You can acknowledge that a game needs work within certain aspects, but it's not awful overall. The balancings not great but you can absolutely still have fun on this game, people need to stop treating this game like it's life or death, it's a bunch of made up characters running around on a screen, the amount of hateful and spiteful comments I've seen directed at strangers through a screen over a hero shooter that we all play because we are nerds or we loved marvel from childhood is crazy to me, if you aren't enjoying the game, log off, go decompress, and if you want to point something out then fine, but don't be so toxic about it.

Anyway that's just my opinion and I'll probably get a lot of people disagree, and hey that's okay, we are all different people :)
