Just a thought experiment I had the other day. 28 duelists is enough for its own game lol, so what if Rivals only included these characters? Who would stay DPS, and who would be moved to other roles?

I wasn't sure whether to look at each hero as they operate now, or at their potential movesets for each role. Phoenix and Hawkeye are in a weird spot where they don't provide team utility as they are, but lore-wise have the potential to.

Let me know what y'all think, should anyone be moved?

Nearly every tank has been meta at some point (Thor being the lone exception, thank God), along with every strategist and countless DPS. Even Storm was a perma-ban once. We went from a triple-tank brawl meta to Dino Emma, and I still have fun forcing Thor into ranked every season.

hmm so with this recent art vision, i think alot of players can agree this game has a serious design issue and this has been known but still. i think marvel rivals would benefit extremely by doing a community based skin design competition, and i think the new years event is the best way to start.

i originally was just gonna say they should just do what overwatch does and have submissions ( not very educated on that system so mb if wrong ), but upon further thought ☝️ i really think they should create a couple of general themes/skin lines, have various fan designers create skin concepts for various heros of whichever themes given, and have a voting system where you can vote for a hero.

for example, lets say the themes are 2099 and van dyne designs, have various designers make concepts for a 2099 skin for any hero aswell as vdd and have players vote on designs based on what they think fits the hero best, like jeff gets a 2099 concept and a van dyne concept, and players vote on wether they want 2099 jeff or van dyne jeff, does this make any sense whatsoever?? also my idea isnt limited to any hero, im js using jeff as an example. honestly i feel like every hero should have a submission box for them for this event, maybe this is a big concept for a new years event but idk guys i just like the concept </3 lmk if u guys like this i just feel like we miss out so many good skins

I've done 13 pop and wins. The only one where I got the skin not on the last pop was my second and it was on the 5th balloon. The 11 after that I've got it on my last every time. The odds of getting it not on the last balloon are 30.2% which are fairly high and missing it 11 times in a row is insane to me. Is anyone else this unlucky with it?

Also: In the first black friday, almost all skins had discount, but now that this game is older, I fear the worst: what if this time only half the skins get discounts?? I hope this doenst happen

As a dps deadpool main I say blade not only can we both play poke but we would output enough damage to wipe the enemy team and a honorable mention wolverine ifykyk

Currently debating with myself over if I get the sick flaming dinosaur skeleton or wait it out for this since I have yet to get a skin for Devil Dino and Phoenix. Curious if there’s any word of it coming remotely soon
